Fairly New, Yet Completely Immersed.

What do you like best about the product?
The classes I've taken over JAMF to help run the environment were beneficial. My class was particularly interested in attributes. This made learning reporting from the console an excellent experience. Still, a lot to learn; however, I can see I'm only getting to the first peak of this mountain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not found anything yet, we were given this environment by someone else, so it was already (somewhat) built out. Documenting this with the help of peers makes it easy to realize just what it takes to run an application like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our organization, we have to have an MDM agent, a security stack, and a modernized way of reporting PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance back to our senior leadership. JAMF makes this possible.

What do you like best about the product?
Our IT dept does not struggle to assist end users any longer. We can remotely reset computer log-ins and troubleshoot issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting our team familiar with the setup was a bit of a struggle. After several training sessions, we were confident that we could go live. Finding specific tools wasn't as easy as we would have liked, although the tools were there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Response times have been cut in half since we can now do the necessary tasks remotely. Making the need for onsite IT 24/7 a thing of the past.

What do you like best about the product?
Options that got in Jamf Connect when compared with Enterprise Connect. Integrations with multiple identity providers helps maca dmins to use Jamf connect to achieve zero touch enrolment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial account setup which shows local admins created at prestage and user initiated enrolments while creating local accounts making end users know about the accounts creating at enrolment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major one I can say is with IdP integration and smooth enrolment.

Couldn’t do my job without this

What do you like best about the product?
It is a one stop shop for Mac administrators - from setup, app deployment, preference settings, restrictions - everything you need to manage your Apple fleet.
What do you dislike about the product?
As exciting as it is to get new features, it’s intimidating to have to migrate existing configurations or create new ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love not having to touch each machine to deploy something - whether it's adding a printer, patching an update - I can do it from one place and scope to specific users.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is the perfect tool for zero-touch deployment, with zero-day support for MacOS versions and smooth and detailed configuration. We can guarantee endpoint-driven security depending on how you use it
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is not compatible with Windows, you will need to learn Intune as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kitting for hybrid workers with zero-touch deployment

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has some of the most straightforward enterprise integrations, such as Cloud IdP with Microsoft, SSO, and variety of configurations supporting the identity needs of organizations. Built in compliance and a robust set of DDM controls via blueprints are welcome recent additions to the platform. GUI interface updates have brought it up to par visually with newer light weight mdm vendor solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf Account OIDC SSO configuration can be clunky and is required for Blueprints and Compliance. Support cases are now locked behind an AI assistant, which also requires the Jamf cloud services enabled through Jamf Account OIDC SSO. Scoping is almost too granular, welcome for deep control but tedious in practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves for SMB needing compliance workflows or accessing an end point condition that unlocks enterprise functionality for our managed services, allowing customers to dream big on what they can achieve in their environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick to get set up and running, really enjoy being able to creat custom dashboards for login to get a quick view of what's important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making feature requests or product change suggestions seem to fall into a black hole. Also not the best way to deploy and update apps compared to tools like Managed Software Center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined management - largest meld vendor so works closely with apple. Hopefully if enough customers of Jamf raise concerns that will help Jamf leverage their apple relationship to make improvements.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has been a crucial component to the management of macOS and iOS in our company. What we have been able to do with our lean IT staff is truly a testament to the capabilities of Jamf.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to say here. When we have had issues our account team as well as Jamf support has always been able to assist and even where features may seem lacking Jamf has been receptive to feedback and addressed these needs in product updates and releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote management and deployment. In a post Covid world we would have been adrift without a rudder without our suite of Jamf products. We have been able to successfully launch entire warehouses of devices globally without bein on site.
