Deel hiring and contracting
What do you like best about the product?
Deel has been integral in our hiring and contracting of Independent Contractors in jurisdictions where we are not set up to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deel 24hr support does not always provide the same service as our CRM assigned to support us on our account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel Shield is going through many "update" changes resulting in problem resolution in the back end. Which I think is learning for Deel too.

What do you like best about the product?
The Deel platform is modern and easy to use; overall, the feedback from our staff who have switched is positive. For businesses, Deel's pricing is accessible and consistent. The customer support has been good.
Moreover, our customer success manager, Maxine, did an absolutely amazing job handling a very last-minute and urgent employment request that really saved the day for our team. Much appreciated!

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automated processes don't work as well as they should (yet). For example, original contracts are automatically updated when amended, so we have to be sure to download copies of each one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel makes it easier for us to hire and pay our staff around the world, with a variety of options that are quite affordable, convenient, and compliant for different regions..

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy and user-friendly. I didn't spend much time learning the system.
The other best part is the Onboarding Manager! My onboarding manager is Anh Phan, she has been very helpful and supportive from day one. She was always very patient to answer my questions during meetings and then sent me clear instructions ( with the screenshots!) to guild me in every step after the meetings. I really appreciate her help, so I could hire and were onboard 10 employees smoothly in other countries.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am located in Taiwan but hired ten people in the Philippines without doing all the paper works, payroll, and onboarding process and save lots of time for a person who needs to take care of employees in different countries.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel is a one-stop-shop for standing up your international team. Deel allows you to hire employees using the contract or EOR model for all countries I have been searching for candidates, allowing for greater flexibility. Their legal experts have assisted with on/offboarding of employees to ensure local labor laws are followed.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Deel's platform is very easy to use, getting a quick payroll amount for the upcoming pay date is difficult due to the amounts shown being displayed in the currency paid to the individual. I would recommend having an option that converts the currency paid to employees to the currency the employer pays. If there was an option to include an expected payroll amount (including fees) at any given time, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiring outside of the United States is always a concern and burdensome when taking in the time spent researching labor laws in different countries. Having a company that takes care of compliance and payroll is very nice.
We did it the hard way, but Deel is still the right solution for a scaling org
What do you like best about the product?
Our account manager, George Hughes. He goes the extra mile to help and has made this whole process run smoothly. The platform is mostly very intuitive, although some of the invoicing stuff and reporting could be simplified. Generally
What do you dislike about the product?
Employees have said that the response times from the employee experience team are long. This is not my experience at all, but given HR teams are going to rely on Deel to deliver a slug of their employee experience, I think it needs to be mentioned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to employ someone without incorporating a business in a new geography. It's a game changer for remote first/globally distributed organisations. We have been doing this for some time (via a different EOR.) We switched to Deel because they do not outsource or use third parties - they have incorporated a business in each location. For a control freak like me, this means that they have walked a mile in my shoes, before I need to. Also, the platform allows nerdy HR people who want to know all the ins and outs of each country to get really educated.

What do you like best about the product?
Deel has streamlined our process for hiring employees where we do not have a legal entity, which has been super helpful. In addition to this Deel makes sure that all employees hired, have their right to work documentation/compliance documentation - which is an important aspect of HR.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deel is a relatively new platform meaning there are some features that have not yet been developed or implemented yet. Because of this sometimes the Deel Platform is not as intuitive or user friendly as it could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding - Deel Handles all our onboarding for employees hired through them, which gives the people ops team time to focus on other tasks

What do you like best about the product?
The team is very responsive, which is extremely helpful. I would like to see a 1-page document illustrating where I can find the comparisons of benefits between countries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much information and not summarised enough. Would like to see a condensed version of benefits. I recently recevied a benefits summary page which was good, but would like to see a more condensed version to recruiters and HR people to make quicker decisions when going back to the candidates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wow, they take away all the admin from initiating a contract to offering the benefits program to our potential employees. The best thing is not having to worry about anything once you have submitted all the details for the contract

It's slightly on the pricier side, not sure how many smaller prospective clients would be able to use their services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deel allows us, a completely remote organization, to hire globally easily. Furthermore, their suite of services can assist us with visas, amongst other things. Without Deel we would have had to have had multiples employees/verticals running point on these needs.
Great system for EOR
What do you like best about the product?
I like the catered experience that each business receives. In addition, we have a dedicated account manager that helps with all intricacies that come along with our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deel is a start-up, so they don't have it all figured out, which is frustrating sometimes, but they are focused on improving, and the business has improved exponentially since we started using their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are working on a streamlined platform that simplifies hiring employees in countries where your business doesn't have entities. They make it easy to stay compliant, which can be incredibly difficult if you are unfamiliar with the country you are hiring in.
