Great way to manage EC2 Usage
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy to learn. Shows us right away how much its saving
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is having to pay extra but the cost for PMC is minimal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AWS mostly for development so it is vital to only have resources running when they are in use. ParkMyCloud lets us manage this very easily. Prior to PMC, we were using custom scripting in AWS. This worked alright but was labour intensive to maintain.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was so easy to implement, I don't have many recommendations. The feature to override the schedule is nice since it quickly allows after-hours work without worrying about paying for usage while you sleep
Great timesaver for testing accounts
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily park and unpark servers has been invaluable for saving money on test servers for our on-premise offering. ParkMyCloud also offers a great api that has allowed us to automate much of this work so developers can work on our product and not on a service we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be somewhat clunky and unintuitive in some cases. In particular, overriding parking schedules can be a bit backwards and lead to accidental parking of servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization traditionally spins up testing servers for our on-premise software on various cloud providers. Developers may forget to turn these servers off when not using them, and they typically aren't used outside of working hours. Being able to automatically shut them down is key to driving down our own costs as we build software for our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rather than implementing the complex logic in-house, lean/small teams should consider using on ParkMyCloud to help drive down costs.

We can check the current status of our Virtual Machine . It up and running or not.

Some time it is not giving proper details

We are basically checking the VM / Server status . And its benefits is we can known that the schedule of Virtual Machine at which it will be down or Up.

We love ParkMyCloud for its ease of use and the api that allows us to automate tasks for our organization.
Support is amazing whenever we need it and we have never been steered wrong with the documentation.
We also love the feature to pull down only the instances we want for parkmycloud for licenses by EC2 tag.

I don't particularly have any gripes with the product as a whole.

Scaling down non-production instances is a big one for us.
We also use parkmycloud api to spin up instances, deploy code to them and spin them down by using the parkmycloud api.

Multiple group role option is missing and it would help us to separate the EC2 instances by teams and cross-team can have access

Our lower environments Dev, QA and UAT have benefited in terms of cost and value to developers. Developers now have flexibility to on/off during weekends rather than waiting for infrastructure team thereby improving productivity

Alredy kept schedule is bit hard to understand in PMC

It is a cost saving benifit for us ,we can also use it for maintanance purpose for patching and other activity

What do you like best about the product?
We are using ParkMyCloud for about a year now and the experience so far has been great. The user interface is very intuitive and scheduler feature is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really cannot point out any negatives about this product, as there isn't any.

Obviously, the dollars spent on cloud services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do some analysis and schedule the downtime and up time of your cloud servers using ParkMyCloud. It would save you a lot more than you can imagine.

Front end. I think the web gui cloud be more cleaned.

Better understanding of the values and apply only the machine profile that we will actually use in the production environment.
A great automatization service for a lower price

The email notification would be better, has a better design.

We are solving budget problems, becuase with Park My Cloud we can optimize the prize of the cloud solutions.
