What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a very useful tool for meeting compliance standards. It helps fill in certain gaps in terms of compliance which can be a major time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta is a very useful tool, but could also lean towards the pricer side, especiaclly for smaller and newer companies. Vanta does a great job of automating processes, but often tasks can be flaged for minor issues that require human intervention to resolve, sometimes leading to false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining and maintaining our ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Consolidated tool for compliance, best practices and policy creation
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link controls to policies and test these regularly to ensure compliance with best practices
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires multiple integrations manually done, doesnt have a discovery option where a single SSO can be used to explore all authenticated tools and integrate them in one go.

Ensuring the organisation is compliant with all requirements for the ISMS as detailed in the ISO 27001 framework

A steep learning curve (at the beginning)

Vanta is allowing us to work towards multiple certifications concurrently. We can easily track progress and ID blockers quickly.

SOC 2 Compliance
Vanta excellent, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the Vanta UI makes monitoring, assigning, and addressing our security goals extremely easy. The tracking keeps you up to date on where your team is at and what tasks you need to pay attention to. This has been extremely helpful in acheiving our ISO 27001-2022 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
The test explanation and processes can be confusing at times. The language used can very greatly on automated tests, making some simple to understand and some left scratching your head.

Vanta is simplifying our security checks and ISO certification process.

Its not really like a mdm, if it had that option, that would be great

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's provided our team with some air cover over our security processes, including user add/deletes, system ownership, and configuration for both our desktop and GCP environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup and tuning takes some time, though the Vanta support here is excellent. Once you get into it, managing the volume of vulnerabiliies may be...intense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main driver was SOC 2 compliance but it's been a useful tool in many other areas of our security program. Served as a huge driver and created a repository for our policies.

My favorite part is the Llama because, even if it is a bot, it actually solves de problem and doesn't stick to one solution.

I cannot think of anything at the moment

Thanks to the easiness of use, we have been able to reduce the burden of the onboarding process.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Vanta primarily to streamline our GPDR compliance. Since then, we have extended our use to manage our policies and keep track of our various inventories.
As the CTO, Vanta’s automated evidence collection and seamless integration with our tech stack (such as AWS, GCP, and GitHub) have significantly reduced my manual workload.

What do you dislike about the product?
I found that the customization options for certain compliance settings were somewhat limited, and expanding these would allow us to tailor the platform more closely to our specific needs.
