I always thanks for Veeam Backup and Replication in my evening prayers.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication has a well-structured and scalable architecture that covers simple to very complex environments. IT professionals can have affordable and secure backups, immutable backups, flexible and safe restore methods and the chance to migrate workloads across different platforms, such as on-premise physical servers to on-cloud virtual machines and many other combinations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The architecture on which Veeam Backup and Replication is built requires reading several hundreds of pages and following webinars and courses; it's costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup and Replication make me feel safer, and I can sleep more serenely.

What do you like best about the product?
symple to use, very powerful application, it save me from big trouble when other software fails,raccomanded, very stable ,open to other platforms, some aspect and graphic shuold be better. veeam community is very big and support is very fast.

graphical interface in some occasion is not user friendly

it solve the managing of our business backups , it can recover single files, single record database, every thing is automated .it can write on tape lto . we used before veeam ,other enterprise software and we have a lot of problem .with veeam all is ok now
Good Software with even better Support
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about this software, while using it over the years, is that I've always gotten great support. Minor concerns and failures and time-critical problems have always gotten appropriate attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Infrastructure limits your ability to update on newer versions. In the past, this has sometimes been an issue while fixing an ongoing problem together with the support agents. A little more understanding of the sometimes necessary use of older versions would be desirable here. But not a big deal in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of nearly any requirement we've got regardings backups. The main focus in our company is backing up the virtual on-premise infrastructure and NAS-Storage systems storing data and network device configuration backups.

What do you like best about the product?
The backup Processing speed is outstanding. I find it much faster than their biggest competitor

Its a massive pice of software installed on your backup server.

Veaam B&R is a valuable tool for disaster recovery
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Veeam B&R for many years, it has helped us in many ways for restoring lost data or inconsistent state virtual machines. Compared to competitors, this product is more reliable, robust and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better licensing paradigm: we belong to a larger company and, although we have relatively simple needs, we were forced to acquire a more expensive license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam B&R is something you can count on, problems are always around the corner and using Veeams makes me feel safer against data loss and misconfigurations which might occur.
BACKUP SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS SERVERS AND EVERYTHING
What do you like best about the product?
We work with windows servers and it worked for us like a charm. Really simple to configure and practical way. The most charming part about Veeam Backup is that it works on windows servers and our Oracle Cloud Server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface. It needs to be more dynamic. We also had some problems with the free trial option. but we managed to make it work. Sometimes it doesn't works on some instances of ubuntu
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for backup solutions for our clients. We have a small data center in our organization to make provide backup solutions and Veeam is helping us a lot. We need a lot of versions of the backups, incremental, complete and doing that with the respective dates.
Veeam Backup very easy to setup and super reliable as a backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is straightforward to follow and very easy to set up. It's great for disaster recovery for Hyper V machines and within a few hours can restore full servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support cannot be easily found via google for a solution. Need to contact Veeam for this.

Backing up multiple Hyper Vs which will help in the even of disaster recovery

It's very flexible; I can back up any device

Documentation and Training are weak or difficult to figure out

The ease of use and reliability. The backups always complete successfully.

The initial set up is a bit complicated and the interface is not intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
It's relatively inexpensive and storage agnostic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is somewhat clunky, and can be hard to navigate at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting reliable backups on a timely manner. Prior to Veeam, we had batch files performing file copies to NAS devices. We now have nightly automatic backups.
