What do you dislike about the product?
We were not able to find how to set up email alerts in case of warnings and failures
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are ingesting data from multiple sources and at times Hevo saves us a lot of development time at the same time making data available to us in near realtime basis
Hevodata - Easy solution for all data pipeline needs
What do you like best about the product?
Having worked with a lot of different solutions like Fivetran, Hevodata has the most user-friendly UI/UX and setup guide for connectors. With so many sources, it gives easy access to all our data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything looks good so far, not much that we dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data solution by connecting all our inhouse data sources and third party services data in a centralized snowflake warehouse, also gives good transformation ability with scheduling capabilities.
User Interface + Cx Support
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly, and it is easy to create new pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pipeline transformation is on python 2.8 it should be on 3 or above.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving data on warehouse from production DB, ingestion is too easy.
Really cool concept- tricky to get started
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of connectors which are conveniently available on their platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of clarity on how to get started- it should be accessible to non-technical people with examples and quickstarts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting and unifying multiple, disparate sources of data.
The connectors definitely make it look easy to get started, but needs more guidance

Very easy and user friendly ETL tool for most use cases, with a great future ahead
What do you like best about the product?
Hevo has a good and easy to use website. For the product that our company is developing, we compared several ETL tools. For our use case, we need a tool that allows us to create a large number of pipelines. Because Hevo offers pricing based on events, the costs are also lower compared to other tools for our use case. With some other tools, pricing is based on the number of pipelines. We had some very specific questions and support was usually able to answer within one business day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hevo is really good for normal pipelines, but it has currently some limitations for more complex use cases. In our use case we want to be able to create Hevo pipelines within our application. For this we are using the API that Hevo offers, but the API is still missing some features that are needed to fully automate our process. In addition, some documentation was not up to date, so we had to contact support. As a result, we had to wait unnecessarily for an answer. If Hevo fixes these things, it can be the perfect ETL tool for our use case without limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At first we wanted to develop our own tool to create connections between data sources and a data warehouse, but then we found Hevo and found out that we could not match the features and the pricing of Hevo with the tool we wanted to develop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an ETL tool that allows you to create a lot of pipelines and the data sources that you have are supported by Hevo, then Hevo is a great and easy to use option. But if you want to automate pipeline creation and management, Hevo currently has a few limitations.
A critical tool to handle a complex data landscape
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is clear and the documentation is good. They make getting up and rolling very fast and effective. As I build they can scale up to whatever I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ingestion times can be a bit slow sometimes. However, the reason for the slow down is understood. They aren't just pushing data through a pipeline. They are creating a fully re-playable pipeline so an adjustment in the future can be retroactively applied to the past. It is a robust system built on real world use and real world development problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am pulling in data from a very difficult, unstructured data source and pushing to Tableau for BI analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hevo is amazing. However, be prepared to supplement it with other tools. We are processing JSON files that did not support pagination and thus, created a Python based pipeline on our own server infrastructure as a starting point. From there, Hevo's ingestion pipeline and transforms have been crucial to our success.
Seamless workflow creation for your data needs
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand and use.
Fast to set up and modify.
Quick support response.
If you're looking to migrate data or create ETLs between your data repositories, this is one of the best options I've tried.
The trial period helps a lot, too.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some caveats to the functioning of the workflows that you find along the way and might not be editable.
The source/destination list is sufficient but there are a few of the big ones missing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me create simple workflows that keep data up to date in multiple repositories.
It also made the process of ETLs simple to set up and test, saving time and money in many of our processes.

Hevo is an out of the box, game changer with amazing support
What do you like best about the product?
Hevo for quick API connections and easy to set up ETL process for our large datasets. I like the UI Hevo has in compersion to its competitors. It is a very good out-of-the-box solution for those that aren't DBA experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hevo has some API connectors not available where others may have them. Sometimes chat support response is slow.
They'd be a 100% recommendation from me instead of a 95% if the API connection option were more diverse and chat/support was more available or at least posted availability hours.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo for being a quick API connectior & easy to set up ETL process makes a world of diference in aliviating our It and dev teams to set them up for us. Replicating data into our Redshift instance over from MySQL was a great learning expereince about timestamps and how that remains an issue in the BI world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not an all solution. Hevo is willing to communicate solutions and work on solutions for you.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. No support for common operations such as deletion of data in some ingestion mode. Hevo should find some solution for this.
2. No support for table relationships which is needed most of the times.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving some of the customer's usecases where we create pipelines and fetch the records from the customer's cloud environment to our environment.
Scalability is the most important benefit we found with Hevo.
