Product is outstanding and the customer support is top notch.
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small startup and needed to be SOC2 compliant the day our product shipped. Drata saves me time. That is the number one benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would have more solutions I could buy, or a marketplace for other compliance options that integrate with my Drata tenant. Like products to help with GDPR. For example a cookie consent solution for our websites, a Terms of Service creator, a Privacy Policy creator. etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with Drata because we needed to be SOC2 compliance with our first customer (!). We achieved that in less than a year which I did not expect. We are now down the path on ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53.
Security, Privacy, and Compliance are part of every (early) discussion we have with any customer. It is so nice to simply point them to our Drata instance.

An overall excellent experience
What do you like best about the product?
I ran into Drata at Saastr's Annual Conference and each conversation I have had since then has been great. It felt like throughout the entire process each person was genuinely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only point I'd recommend is figuring out a way to differentiate against the competition. We ultimately bought due to the better sales experience but I'd need a clearer picture on why they're better than the competition. Now that I am a customer, I know why, but that was a little tough to tell from a marketing perspective at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata saved us a ton of time in getting our SOC2 compliance complete. We were in a rush as a new startup and so they really helped us expedite this and make sure we were doing things the right way.
Drata: Making Compliance Great Again
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has made compliance simple and fun again! The software is incredibly easy to configure and use, and the customer support is unparalleled - the best and fastest I've ever experienced. Its intuitive design and responsive customer support allow for a smooth compliance process, which is a rarity in the industry. Drata truly lives up to its name, offering divine compliance solutions that make the process enjoyable and stress-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is a newer company than its competitors, there are some features and use cases that are missing. However, they seem to introduce new feature at lightning speed and the platform is getting better and better.

Smooth SOC2 Type 1
What do you like best about the product?
For us, it was crucial to have a flexible compliance platform that can quickly adjust to our needs for automation in compliance processes. Drata is simple to set up and gives us the most open and efficient solution on the market to connect everything we need to run our compliance efficiently.
Not only is Drata incredibly professional, but the entire system is also so easy to use that staff can be trained and working with the system immediately. This saves us time and costs, which we can rather invest into initiatives that will provide our customers unique experiences with our brand.

Although our compliance in the field of security was on a very good level, as a tech company we wanted to find a partner that will automate all our internal processes. Drata did just that, and also added values to our processes which are appreciated not just internally, but externally as well.
Fast as simple like nothing else in the compliance space
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is the knowledgeable and reliable partner you want when it comes to compliance (or any other SaaS for the matter). Their product gets the job done in no time and their team is always there to help you: our CSM Ali has been nothing short of amazing in supporting us throughout the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any, so far they have been terrific across the board - from onboarding throughout the entire process, including quickly solving any questions and doubts along the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a solution to give us peace of mind and confidence around SOC2 compliance and beyond. Drata checks all the boxes and does it so effortlessly for us.
Outstanding Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
Although there are many great things about my experience with Drata (anywhere from the intuitively understood features to seamless external audit), I would like to highlight the outstanding customer support. Customer support from a dedicated Customer Success Manager to online live chat. I want to say "Big thank you!" to Martin Meyer and Lizzie Higgins - the Customer Success Managers assigned to our company! Great job!

Honestly, I can't find anything that I would dislike about Drata.

Drata helps us maintain ISO 27001 and SOC2 certifications. It saves a lot of time and enables us to be more productive.
The Drata Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The UI of the platform is intuitive. Technical and compliance support is responsive and helpful when questions and issues arise. Our CSM, Alex Bank, is easy to work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are still desired, but Drata provides a roadmap available to customers to view and rate feature requests on the importance to increase priority in development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata provides a platform for continuous compliance monitoring against existing frameworks such as PCI and SOC 2. This allows our compliance team to get an overview of our compliance posture throughout the year as well as set reminders for evidence gathering. Drata also provides a helpful feature that allows customers to contact compliance experts for clarification and questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I had an overall positive experience with Drata, there were a couple of areas that could use improvement. At times, the platform felt a bit slow, especially when editing the ISMS for ISO 27001. However, this was a minor issue that didn't significantly impact our audits. Additionally, waiting for some synchronizations to happen, such as with Certn, could be a bit annoying. However, the fact that Drata synchronizes with multiple tools and services is impressive, and the wait time was understandable given the nature of the process. Overall, these were minor inconveniences that were outweighed by the benefits of using Drata for our compliance needs.

Drata's Trust Center makes compliance processes so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The Trust Center is a game changer for automating the signing of NDAs, document requests, and providing confidence to prospects. It's saved us many hours of manual work already.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major so far, but the Trust Center is a new product so we're looking forward to more customization options, which they are already working on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a great interface to showcase prospects our security certifications and makes it easy for them to request documents without manual email back and forths
Excellent experience with Drata
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a vCISO and work with customers on building their security programs and preparing for an audit. Drata has been amazing in preparing my customer for SOC2. It's amazing in that 85% of the evidence is automatically gathered and tested every 24 hours. No more screenshots and manual gathering of evidence. The best part is knowing the control is actually being enforced on a daily basis. Ali McCormick our Drata Customer Success Manager has been great in helping us use Drata and meet the customer's accelerated SOC2 timeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Risk Assessment and Remediation Plan were more automated. Having to map the Remediation to the control manually was disappointing. The SOC2 system description isn't automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
85% automation of gathering the evidence and preparation for SOC2. Pulling everything about SOC2 into one place. Being able to assign controls to specific owners who can then manage the control and receive alerts when it's out of compliance, Easily maintaining daily compliance is critical to lowering a company's risk.
