Drata has been great for our start-up.
What do you like best about the product?
The project team assigned to our account, as well as the Drata platform itself, have both been top notch. Great experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to report here! We haven't come across any negatives yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our SaaS product, start-up environment, Drata is helping us remain aligned on our "security first" approach to our product and security posture. The platform is also helping us remain on track towards our SOC2 certification goals.

Soc2 made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Having gone through the Soc2 process with two companies - one which used Drata and one which didn't, I can honestly say that the platform is a godsend. I am able to have full visibilty on all of the team and keep on top of who is compliant and who needs to take action. There are also many policy templates which have been useful and saved us writing them all from scratch. I would say the platform is pretty easy to use. I'm not a technical genius and have managed to navigate around it just fine. Our assigned representative is Jordan Penn, and Jordan has been great in guiding us through the process. I've met with Jordan twice monthly over the past 12 months and found him to be very knowledgable and insightful. I highly recommend both Drata and Jordan.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's quite expensive. Other than that, no negatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is our platform to ensure we are Soc2 regulated

Lack of report export customization for features like employee compliance and monitoring.

Best support person ever - RYAN from Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Ryan from Drata - was able to fix our DNS issues within 8 minutes. Better than most technical architects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Your tech support articles are a bit too simple and not all that helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
The navigation and user interface are well organized and easy to use. The Customer Success Team is outstanding! Jessica has been a fantastic resource to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integrations don't enable accurate updates.

Drata allows us to project manage our SOC-2 and GDPR requirements and evaluations.
Good customer experience despite a rocky start
What do you like best about the product?
Knowledgeable customer success managers to help guiding our team through SOC2. Comprehensive software product, easy to integrate with our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some lost momentum in our SOC2 implementation, especially when it came to writing our policies. The template experience is overwhelming, and the Drata team took too long to identify that we needed help and an external partnership to succeed at writing our policies.

Guiding our team through SOC2 compliance, starting with 0 knowledge.
Great experience, tons of knowledge and insight
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Drata makes everything. Most of what we need day over day gets handled automatically, but when something doesn't go as expected, the Drata team is right there. The chat feature makes it easy to get even complex questions answered quickly and our customer success manager, Ali, was always there for us with advice, support, and next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in my experience, it's been great for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring all of our cloud resources, tracking expirations of evidence, wrangling our personnel into compliance.
Best in class GRC automation tool with excellent customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Drata automates control monitoring and evidence collection, making audits much easier and faster! It also provides a useful dashboard with continuous updates about our security posture. Their customer service is very helpful and responsive. Our CSM (Tony Russo) has gone above and beyond to ensure we are getting the most out of the tool and making progress towards our audit readiness. I would highly recommend Drata for any organization looking to automate and level up their security, trust, and GRC functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific to Drata, but setting up integrations for all the SaaS tools we use does take quite a bit of time.

Drata is solving several problems for us:
1. Continuous security compliance monitoring (which controls are passing/failing and why)
2. Policy implementation (standardized templates that are fully customizable)
3. Security awareness/HIPAA training (tracking which employees completed training)

SOC 2 Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is easy to use and serves as a great foundation for additonal regulatory and privacy growth. Elise Spitzer is an amazing support consultant, providing professional direction and is always available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial learning curve is steep. It takes a certain time period to learn "Drataese."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My firm is undergoing the SOC 2, Level II audit. Manual processes were used in the past which created a one off scenario. What we find with Drata is the data required, once captured, can be used for future assessments pertaining to required evidence collection.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely helpful team with quick responses and always prepared with resources to help us on our SOC2 journey. The software has been easy to use and our project path is always clear.I also appreciate the integrations they provide as it saves us time and effort. Implementing policies has also been much easier on the Drata playform.
