Making a professional portfolio via Wix.
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is incredibly easy to use and navigate, providing you with templates for any of your website needs. Having used Wix to create a portfolio of my professional audio work, I found that importing and rearranging/resizing each component was really simple. I like that Wix allows you to be creative and design the website as you desire, without need to abide by the chosen template.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue that I encountered when using Wix was the uploading of large media assets onto my website. Wanting to display a short film that I worked on, I had to upload it in two parts as the file was too large - exceeding the file size limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is incredibly useful for anyone looking to make a professional website; whether this be for the purpose of creating anything from a company website to a personal portfolio, or blog. Through Wix, you also have the option to purchase a personalised domain, making your website more likely to appear in searches and to give it that extra professional touch. Therefore, making Wix a useful resource for anyone looking to create a website. Wix has been especially handy for me when making my portfolio of work, as it is really easy to update with my most recent creations to share with my intended audience. As a free means of website creation, Wix is definitely a great solution to building your own website.

I have had occasions where it takes forever to load, and you can't change the HTML of the page; they should update more frequently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendly interface of Wix. As a web development company, we recommend Wix to many of our clients because it is straightforward to manage and edit the website using there drag and drop builder.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike about it, but they can improve their tools to offer better website SEO. Other than that, I think there is always room for improvement in every website builder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making an E-Commerce website is a complex job. Many tools must be put together to make it fully functional, but with Wix, it can all happen with drag and drop, saving time.
I think it's a great way to create my pages at the company.

I find the site somewhat heavy for some functionalities in general, besides being somewhat obsolete in some plugins. Overall, it works well, but it could improve.

It's such an easy tool to get everything set up in one shot. You can create your domain, set up your hosting and get right to building your website. Whether you choose a template or start from scratch, the whole thing is easy and simple to use. You can even optimize your site for mobile in a snap without any hiccups or searching google with how-to's.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit pricy compared to other hosting services, but that's probably because you're paying for the ease and flexibility that the web designer offers so if you're just starting out it's not a bad investment, but most likely something you'd want to move off of after a few years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an easy platform to use. You don't have to figure out the complexities of Wordpress and you don't have to be an expert at html and css coding. You can literally sign up and start building your website in the same day with ease and little knowledge of how to even build a website.

Not recommended to bigger websites or e-commerce websites that needs cloud hosting, seperate server or storage kind of needs. its only for small purposes.

Wix editor for making websites is little difficult to use for new users. Wix needs to improve their plugins library to improve the features of websites created using it.

Wix gives the option to make website using pre developed templates which can very useful to non programming professionals and can deployed very easily than buying other custom domains.

Wiz is a very useful tool that can help you creating cool websites without the needing of coding. Also they have a really huge catalog of different templates and a very user friendly platform

The pricing. I consider ir a little bit expensive annually, they also offer a free option but if you use 5is, you will need to keep the wix trademark and their domain.

We needed an easy way to create landing pages that everyone could add information. It hard because our budget was really low and we could not afford paying a real designer or a developer. With wix, anyone can create a website Simple.
