Easy to use but does not work for SEO searches
What do you like best about the product?
It is very quick and easy to use and set up

The problem with most of these pre-formulated website builders is that your website will not register individually under Google searches

It is a quick fix for those who do not want to spend time and money building a website

What do you like best about the product?
There is freedom to design the perfect site that compliments what you envision for you company. We have out company colors on the site and our logo. Its nice because you can make it public when you decide the website is ready to go so you can work on it for as long as you want before actually making it public. I like the different pricing options. We chose a .org domain because it made more sense for us pricing wise, but you can choose a .com domain too. We were able to add things and move things around to make it visually appealing to us. The site made it super easy to understand how things needed to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing i really dislike. they make it super easy to do & its fun to customize the site to just how you want it done. Maybe being able to do more when its free, but i know they need to make money too. We purchased the upgrade you paid for. what i wish it had was a spelling check because sometimes you miss something and it doesn't tell you its wrong so you just make public and then you realize so you have to go back and fix it. Otherwise i have been pretty happy with the site and have had no real issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we get a lot of traffic to our site by just sharing it on other social networking sites. the widgets are really fun to use too. we have a traffic (to the site) counter and our services can be clearly listed. The about me page you can make is also very beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend taking your time and really getting your site the way you want it. Also id say to purchase the upgrade because you get your moneys worth.

What do you like best about the product?
WIX is a great service to use for start up companies and small business owners who needs quick websites made in the form of HTML . I like the ease of the drag and drop concept WIX has deployed. This allows a user to fully customize their preferences with the available tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things I don't like about WIX is the HTML base. Most HTML pages look one denominational which takes a ton away from the dynamics of any site. If you wanted to take a more luxury approach to your commerce site, this can be a bit difficult with WIX as its economically designed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIX solves a ton of problems for its users, most notably everyone does not know how to make a websites but a ton of people have small businesses. WIX helps those small businesses, advance their footprint by helping them create a very cheap website to display their products and services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
WIX is a great source for expanding and creating a platform for your base to travel to. My recommendation for individuals using WIX is to first understand what you want, what you are looking for, then determine if WIX can provide all essentials to bring that vision to life. While its economically a preferred option to many small businesses ,it often does not provide all the essential functions and security many business owners need when making their commerce site.
10/10 would recommend!

It is user-friendly and so easy to maneuver. You don't have to be a professional website designer or know code to build a professional website!
You have the option to build you own website from the ground up, or use ADI- Artificial Design Intelligence, and have WIX almost entirely build your website built for you, based off of a few questions! I have not seen any other website builder with that option!

The customer support for WIX is great. Any time I have had a problem, they have been so helpful in helping me resolve the problem while also explaining why it happened to prevent if from happening again.

It can be difficult to change templates once you have already chosen a template, this can make it difficult if you decide to redesign your website.

Discovering the advantages of SEO, WIX has helped a lot with that!

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to build their platform. There is no need to hire someone else to build your website for you. Wix gives you the tools you need to do it all by yourself!
Point and Click Usability
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is so easy to use, that its easy for clients to log in and make edits to their websites without having to call or email me to make them. The App Market allows for easy integration of features, linking to social media, metrics and more. It's easy to add a store, manage invoices, order tracking and more, with easy payment options. You can also easily duplicate the site to build a similar site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you select an initial "design" you can't change it to another without starting from scratch. Customer support isn't offered by phone, so if you can't spell out exactly what your problem is in an email, it'll be a few rounds of back and forth to work out the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have several clients who are looking for someone to build a website, which I'm fine with. I don't always have the time to make edits to sites as quickly as a client would like them, and this software is easy enough to use and understand that clients are able to make their own changes.

Wix is constantly adding more features, based on what is discussed in the help forums of their website.

Easy to use website builder for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
You don't need to know a thing about coding in order to build a website. I like how they also let you see how your site will look on mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you are building your desktop website, I wish it could be more in-tune responsively when switching over to the mobile version. There were always a lot of elements I had to move around in order for them to look correct on the mobile version of the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to create a very small business website quickly, and did so very easily with this program. Not needing technical knowledge was a huge benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely not the platform you want to use if you are starting any type of eCommerce store, but great for throwing up a super quick and aesthetically-pleasing website with minimal pages associated with it.

What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot that I love about Wix. It is very user friendly, and has a drag an drop capacity, you can also preview in real time how your website looks. You can add background videos to all of your pages and it is very easy to navigate and edit. It also has an excellent SEO analysis tool that helps you understand what SEO might be the very best for your pages, and helps you layout SEO in a very easy way. It is the best web design platform for people whom know nothing about web design and coding and want to make very simple websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can not make something very advanced without a lot of technical help. You will need hundreds of extra plug ins to make the site into a membership site for example and these plug ins are not easy to use navigate or update: they are also not easy to teach to your clients how to use, which I use dot think was once of WIX's best functions.
I think that six has dramatically improved in that websites can look very classy and beautiful but there are limitations. You can not create complicated animation for example. There is limitations in the gallery options in that there are a lot of styles but all the styles look somewhat amateur and not that modern.

I feel it is fine for small websites and small businesses and easy to show how to update. I love showing clients how easy it is to add text and images to their own site as I feel it helps them to feel in control of the website should something go wrong with it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to add a lot of additional features and functions to the website you are probably still best to use Wordpress or Squarespace where you can add HTML, CSS or Java Script.
If you have a small business and need only a small number of pages though the platform is fantastic.
Be aware that the platform images are only as good as the images you upload to the platform and use on your website so make certain that they are saved for the web in photoshop and make certain they are outstanding images, it isn't good enough to have bad images on a website any more and this will drag your site down. FYI if you want parralax this is an option on WIX but not on all templates.
