Comprehensive, but not turn key
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you have the option to choose between various storage providers, as well as being able to backup network shares.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the flexibility of storage providers, setup isn't install and run. Depending on your technical abilities and which provider you choose, this can be a daunting process, especially for a home user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using this at home to backup my computer and NAS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to do your research into the cloud storage providers. Amazon Web Services (Glacier) is inexpensive, but isn't a simple setup, especially if you have no prior experience with AWS. Other providers may be easier to get set up.
Works great so far

This is a very powerful, yet easy to use product. I like that it can connect to so many storage types and it is incredibly flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of that I don't like is that on startup it doesn't show a notification icon since it is a service. It's no big deal though since I can just load the UI application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps the latest x versions of all critical files. This is incredibly important since it allows us to easily recover anything.
Just works! Period.
What do you like best about the product?
Very fast restore browsing. Simple interface. Runs as a Windows Service (no need to be logged on). Very cost effective with amazon S3
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, so far. Believe me or ask my wife. I am a hard cookie to impress. Tend to complain about all things modern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to keep accounting backups for multiple years. Tried Acronis and ran it for a few years now, until I just realized it was deleting older backups AND there was no way to configure it to keep them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just works! Try it!

Set it and forget it, it just works. From complex backup policies to basic, CloudBerry Backup will get the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are always releasing new features and updates which is great but I like my backup software to sit and age like a fine wine. Just kidding, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving away from commercial backup software providers to more of a DIY approach using CloudBerry Backup and own cloud storage subscriptions.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and awesome and fast support response. I had some trouble initially setting it up but the tech team did an awesome job of helping me. In addition, they extended my 14 days trial period because I was late setting up my trial period
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing. This has been a good product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is for personal backup
Feature rich in both how you want to backup and where you want to backup to
What do you like best about the product?
A very feature rich tool that not only allows you to backup any way you want, (like customized retention policies, strong encryption and block-level incremental backups) but also where you want (whether it's local, personal cloud like Google Drive and Microsoft One Drive, or enterprise cloud like Amazon S3 and Backblaze B2).
What do you dislike about the product?
The 5TB limit on Server licenses is far too low for business use. Also even though it supports backing up directly to the most cloud providers in any backup tool I've seen, Dropbox is notably absent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With CloudBerry Backup I was able to use multiple backup plans, utilizing different retention policies and backup techniques (file vs block-level) depending on the type of data in the plan, while storing the backup directly in enterprise level cloud storage like Amazon S3 and meeting encryption requirements. This allowed for such a cost-effective way to backup that I was able to not only backup important data, but also all non-important (but useful) data within budget.
