Unified search, but mostly finds documents based on exact keyword matches
What do you like best about the product?
With one unified search, glean helps find documents, slack messages, and acronym solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Glean sometimes seems like it won't find stuff unless you find an exact keyword match. I hope it supports ChatGPT-style searching over company documents soon.

Like google, but for work
What do you like best about the product?
I use Glean DAILY (probably hourly) to help complete tasks. You can write all the documentation you'd like, but without an index finding what instruction can be next to impossible. Glean, however, makes this possible. It indexes our entire org, so answers are just a moment away!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had something to say about disliking Glean, but I don't!

Absolutely essential tool for everyone where you can find the answer to anything in seconds!
What do you like best about the product?
So every product in this space claims, "We are the Google for enterprise search". Glean is the first company where this claim is 100% true and MORE.
Glean searches so much over so many different platforms that it takes seconds to find the answer when someone asks me a question.
Zendesk Tickets, Slacks, Confluence, Gdrive, and so much more are just seconds away, and the best part is that Gleans search is faster than the native products search.
For example, "Hey, can you find the latest roadmap deck for X product?".. Turn to Glean, and I find results in Gdrive, Slack, and more.
"What about that thing we emailed about last year?" Glean manages to produce the lost email like magic every time.
It's honestly one of the tools I use themost every single day.

Absolutely nothing; Glean has been flawless in our deployment.

Finding data across multiple internal tools and platforms where data typically is siloed. It aids with productivity and makes you seem like a knowledge wizard.

Very simple and easy to use. Let's me search across multiple data points in my company's inventory to find what I need when I need it.

Nothing. it's simple to use and get's the job done.

Helps me find the right information in a quick amount of time. I can find everything I need with a few words of type.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Glean's incredibly intuitive searching UI. It allows me to search across all my internal knowledgebase articles and documents so I have the best possible results when I need information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way Glean indexes my results can improve a bit. There are some articles I always have trouble finding even with Glean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every day there's another reference article or source of truth document that gets produced. Instead of having to jump back and forth between this information, Glean makes it extremely intuitive to rank the results and get to exactly what I need.

I use glean every day to search through historical slack messages, JIRA tickets, and Confluence docs.
It's much better than the built-in search.

Not happy with the permissions they ask for some integrations (they require full admin over gitlab just to index issues and PRs, full read/write over a lot of business websites to install the chrome extension)

Get what you need when you need it
What do you like best about the product?
Easy one clock searching for anyone or anything related to my company. Incredibly valuable to search across all of our various document and data storage, as well as a variety of other internal tooling.
My favorite feature is just looking up my coworkers and learning about them from Glean. I also like the tenure feature, and use it often as a motivational piece for people who don't realize just how tenured they are compared to the company as a whole.

What do you dislike about the product?
It makes me login to often and that is annoying. It also sometimes ranks stuff very highly in search returns that I think should be irrelevant / bottom of the list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean makes it easy to find information within my company without having to search 10 different places. I am more productive because I can just type in "FY24 plan" and find all of the related documents people are drafting without me knowing :)
Great search solution for the modern workspace

As more and more of the information I need daily is now spread across slack, confluence and GSuite, having Glean as a one-stop-shop for all my search needs has made my life much easier.

So far, I can't think of things that I don't like.

Glean helps me find the information I need, whether in slack, GSuite or Confluence, and provides very accurate results that help save me a lot of time during the day.
Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the fast Glean is integrated with all the different apps I use on a day-to-day basis (GCal, Confluence, etc). It's a nice single place to find anything I need. The search function usually returns pretty relevant content for what I need. Additionally, the UX is pretty good; UI feels snappy and responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more "smart suggestions." The suggestions on the homepage were generally just my history, which isn't super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean seems to be solving the lookup problem, where that file or page you're looking for is hidden in an app and you don't want to open up all the apps you've ever worked in to find it.

Incredibly easy to use, and it has top-tier speed and performance. Saves me so much time searching for things across multiple systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really aren't any downsides that I've found so far. My only complaint is that more of our systems aren't integrated yet.

Glean is helping to consolidate knowledge from many distributed systems and services into one easy-to-use location. It saves you so much time and effort trying to find playbooks, wikis, previous slack messages, and even recordings in google drive.
