Easy to use, good for internal searching
What do you like best about the product?
Searching things throughout slack is very helpful since Slack does not have a way to search among different group chats. Google does not support different app searching either
What do you dislike about the product?
Glean acquired ACIO at some point, and https://app.askscio.com/ used to lead to my logged-in glean. Now I cannot use this option to access this search. I wish I can have this back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick search of internal data among multiple platforms, such as slack, google doc, GCP, confluence and jira. Very helpful for internal data search. I also enjoy the metioned wedget.
Glean has been so helpful in my role at a large technology company.
What do you like best about the product?
Glean makes it so easy to find information on internal document repositories and within Slack. I would recommend this tool to any company trying to make their employees jobs a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes at this point. I haven't found anything yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean is providing a Google like experience for companies to use for their employees. It makes jobs easier to be able to find crucial information that allows you to be successful in your role.
Great search engine to find what you want
What do you like best about the product?
I love Glean - it has a great UI, it's extremely fast & super accurate at finding what you need from a plethora of documents! I'd highly recommend it as an internal search engine!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to customize my searches - sometimes, it ends up showing my own documents, when what I want is to search for others who have encountered similar problems as what I'm trying to solve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding similar problems that others have encountered / solved and that unblocks me from solving my own problems, it's a great all-purpose search engine for internal documents!

It's really expensive - like more expensive than Google Workspace, where most of the data is actually sat!

Sharing betweeen departments and during our merger it was really helpful to engage people and keep everyone up to date

What I like best about Glean is its user-friendly interface that makes it easy for team members to navigate and access all the necessary tools and features. The platform's ability to integrate with other productivity tools, such as Google Drive, Trello, and Asana, has also been a huge plus for us. We no longer have to switch between multiple platforms, as everything is now conveniently accessible on Glean.

one drawback of Glean is its limited customization options, which may not be ideal for teams with unique needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean is solving the problem of scattered and disorganized communication and project management by providing a centralized platform for team collaboration. This has benefited me by making it easier for me and my team members to communicate, collaborate, and track progress on our projects efficiently. With Glean, we no longer have to switch between multiple tools, which has saved us time and improved our overall productivity. The platform's powerful features and seamless integrations have also enabled us to work more effectively, especially when working remotely.
Saves a ton of my time
What do you like best about the product?
Gelan searches all available internal company resources in one click. It saves me a ton of time and makes sure I don't miss any resources to search. I love the Preview option for Slack results which allows us to view the results in-place without navigating to Slack. The ordering of results is also perfect. Like Trending posts, Work Anniversaries of colleagues etc.,
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not search google doc comments which has much valuable information.

Searching solutions for issues others has already solved.

What do you like best about the product?
Whatever we search in Glean, we get results from all available sources. It helps to provide multiple filters which helps to reduce your search time and get you your intended results
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel the results are unwanted unless we use a specific filter. Adding more specific pattern search would help to make the results optimized

It helps me to provide the solution references for the previously handled issues and thus it saves time . Also provide a direction where we can look for solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love using Glean to search across all our different business applications. As a Solutions Consultant, finding the answer in an efficient way is half the job; Glean has made it MUCH easier to do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the primary features, so I don't have many complaints. I think an easier way to collaborate with others to help them find the answers would be beneficial, though.

Glean is my personal search engine for all my business applications. I use it to find answers to tough customer questions, research a topic that has come up internally, etc.
Life saver when onboarding to a new company
What do you like best about the product?
I use it constantly to find any relevant document to something I need or to get inspiration for something I want to create. We have it connected to all systems so I can find anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not too much to dislike. Sometimes the suggestions can be better. Also, if you make any kind of spelling error then there is no kind of automatic correction, you will have to research with correct spelling.

Documents are everywhere and information is shared in all sorts of ways. Instead of asking all my colleagues to share ideas or documents, I find them quickly through a glean search.
Best enterprise tool for internal info
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Glean(called uSearch internally) so many times, everyday. It gets info from all the available internal knowledge bases, slack and wikis. There are great options to add it to chrome home page and also messages can be previewed in that page itself of redirecting to specific app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish search could be improved when multiple words are entered on the search tab. Example, if search is "word_1 and word_2", I wish see the results in the order of closeness of these words in the result content, but at the moment it's going through document and showing results which contains these words in different paragraphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me get the resources I need very quickly. If not for this, I would be searching the same query in Slack, Engwiki, Confluence and other internal pages.
