Easy, simple internal search that almost always returns what I need.
What do you like best about the product?
Shows the most relevant results to my query first and handles many different types of documents and messages. I am confident that whenever I search, I will find what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think more integrations would be great and the NLP and search analysis could be improved. Also I
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting answers to most questions I have to complete my work. My time to find the documentation or message that will unblock me has gone down significantly. I definitely think my performance has increased with Glean.
Easy to use - helps me find what I need
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward user interface... just type what you're looking for and Glean does what I need it to, searching for all types of documents that exist in my company's eco-system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if this is on Glean but there are often multiple versions of the same document (at least in title) that show up in the search results. Likely a function of people creating copies of the same version. Always curious if there are minor differences between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me find documents that I think exist but have no clue where they live.
Easy to use & beyond convenient
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Glean surfaced all the tools we used into one spot. Searching for marketing topics for the quarter emerged so many documents and chats around the topic, all in one spot, rather than searching slack, google drive, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be how Glean was implemented at my company, but I was not a fan of how it took over my new tab page in Chrome. I had already customized the new tab page to my workflow and quick access to the systems I used daily, and when the Glean update was pushed, it wiped out everything I had created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved the problem of wasting time searching rather than spending time creating and working. It helped me discover new documentation that I did not know existed. It was a complete game-changer.

What do you like best about the product?
Glean searches across all tools i.e. email, Slack, GDrive making it a one-stop shop and easy to filter when looking for something in particular. It's the first tool of this type I've worked with and overall I've had a positive experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to flag so far. It's just about building the habit to use it instead of going to GDrive as a default. Internally our company also just has a number of places to look for resources, but that's more of an "Us Problem" than a Glean problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Particularly at a startup there are a lot of docs out in the world that people have created over the years that are duplicative. It's nice to look for something across channels and determine if you need to start from scratch or if there is something relevant that already exists.
Glean rocks
What do you like best about the product?
Glean is the real deal. I leverage Glean on a daily basis, and it's a game changer. It consolidates all the information across corp tools (slack, confluence, google docs) and allows me to quickly search and find information I'm looking. Given that each person has perferences on how to document, it's great to have all of enterpise search unified into a single tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some kinks about search that I'm still getting used to. Glean was integrated a year after I joined my company, and certain older docs appear not to be recommended as results that often. That said, these are usually 5-10% of my searches. The other 90% of my searches end up on the right documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'd reckon it's saved me 1-2 full days worth of time: chasing down a document, sifting through google chrome history, or pinging colleagues if they were in a thread where we discussed project details. Now, I can independently get context and find answers. The best part is that solutions like Stack Overflow require a push of knowledge into a repo. Glean indexes everything, allowing searches to pull all available information with minimal effort by the person sharing knowledge. Highly recommend this tool!
Super helpful as a software engineer
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to find internal documentation through a better interface than just "google docs search" is really helpful as well as being able to find slack messages too. Super important for understanding our codebase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it remembered the last filter I used in a search. I find that jira adds a lot of noise to my searches but it like 2-3 clicks every time I want to disable it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me be a lot more effective at information gathering which is super important as a software engineer. The less time I spend rummaging for information the more time I can be doing activities that are actually useful.
Glean helps teams be more productive and saves time
What do you like best about the product?
The search feature of Glean is amazing. Being able to type in a term and then filter based on file type, owner, or channel saved me so much time! I went from hunting for that one random file a colleague shared in a slack channel 10 months ago to finding it in seconds using Glean
What do you dislike about the product?
I never really figured out how the "homescreen" worked - why would I use that instead of my calendar and email. I am sure it has value, but that didn't provide a ton of value for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean makes it easy for people to find the resources they need to do their jobs. It's especially helpful for organizations, particularly late-early stage or hyper-growth, that have lots of systems and filing mechanisms that grew up organically and have become the "giant rubberband ball" of a mess.
A massive productivity hack!
What do you like best about the product?
Glean is integrated with other apps, making it easy to navigate internal company resources quickly (Slack, GDrive ...etc). It is also simple to use, responsive, and quick to return results. In addition, the search functionality returns accurate results (just what I needed, when I needed it).
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing stopping me from integrating with my browser (Chrome) is that the New Tab option could use some work with bookmarks (especially if I have multiple bookmarks or no name).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new hire, it makes onboarding 10000000% easier when you have a centralized place to look for content.
BUY GLEAN
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive product, which definitely helps you find information across multiple internal products
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing has really jumped out negatively. We already know where some key feature enhancements are on the roadmap
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
make searching for documents, message, information across multiple products much more efficient
I'm hooked on Glean
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of products out there that claim to reduce the total amount of time workers spend looking for resources, but Glean is the only one I've come across that walks the walk. Over the last several months, Glean has become an integral part of my daily routine. In a growing company, there is no shortage of product knowledge and resources, but knowing where to look (or even what to look for) can feel impossible. Glean solves this issue. Since it is indexed against our internal company knowledge base, support page, ticketing system, CRM, and document repository, the time I spend searching for information has been cut in half. As a result, I can prep for meetings faster, quickly leverage the institutional knowledge of others at the company (including those who have left), and spend more time working on strategy.
Also, huge shoutout to the success, support, and technical integration teams. Not only do they respond to inquiries in SECONDS, but they are also proactive in helping our team to get the most out of the tool. Having that level of partnership makes a real difference.

What do you dislike about the product?
Glean is the first place I go to find anything, and while I encourage my colleagues to take advantage of it as well, consistent adoption on our team could be stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If it weren't for Glean, I would be pulling my hair out trying to find the resources I need at any given point throughout the day. Not only am I more efficient in prepping for meetings and completing projects, my level of product and company knowledge are far beyond what they would otherwise be at this point in my tenure.
