The best data storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of infrastructure and data querying
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be better and can trace the path of other cloud providers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use snowflake for variety of reasons. mainy ML nowadays. Many clients have their data in snowflake.
How to store data and do data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The way it store and process the data is the best thing that I like. It is also helpful for analysing data like the large amount of data
What do you dislike about the product?
So, I am using it for last two months and I don't find anything wrong in this it is very useful to store and process the large amount of data in my practice things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So, when we need to analyse large amount of data in cloud in that way Snowflake comes in the picture and it helps a lot for the usual work and in data analysis as well.
One of the best Data warehousing tool for your ETL needs!
What do you like best about the product?
- Simple and Modern UI.
- User management and Provisioning is much simpler once you implment the Single sign on with provisioning functionality.
- Roles and permission management is straight forward, snowflake has detailed documents for priviledges syntex etc.
- Manging databases, schema and it's objects is a breeze (be it via worksheet or via snowflake UI).
- Setting up resource monitor helps a lot to track your credits consumption and get alerts for exhausting credit quota depending on the alerts that you set.
- Dashboard and budget functionality is also there, by which getting insights of credit usage by warehouse, by role, etc. all details are easily available.
-Snowflake supports various Warehouse sizes from Xsmall to 4XL to support you ETL needs, with auto pause and clustering features.

What do you dislike about the product?
As of now everything is working fine and nothing that I dislike as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is solving the ETL needs for our data warehousing solutions, while simplfying the Administration work.
Snowflake Review
What do you like best about the product?
How accessible it is to get data using SQL
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is not as pretty as periscope
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing data, giving access to data
Game-Changer for Scalable Data Management and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is a well designed Intelligent product that is without a doubt the best in its class. The decoupled storage and computer works perfectly, seemlessly and makes scaling simple. The micro clustering was my biggest concerns on day one but frankly it just works. You still need the odd hint here or there but compared to teradata (or high scale postgres) it's very very simple and just works
What do you dislike about the product?
Unpredictable pricing, No on-premises deployment. They are pushing hard to be more than a database. They want to be a full data science platform, which will be a stretch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Snowflake for data warehousing, analytics, and managing ETL pipelines. Its ability to integrate data from multiple sources streamlines operations.
Snowflake is widely adopted in our Organisation considering its interoperability
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is the widely adopted tool in our organisation, as it is interoperable with many of our data sources
It has many plugins which is helpful as we need not call APIs for those
Also for specific purposes, usecases, audiences we could customise our data and create views and provide access accordingly
Identity Access Management also works as intended without glitches

What do you dislike about the product?
A few things like, when we connect to powerbi the backend working and steps applied is not being visible due to warehouse and role accesses in snowflake
Each time it requires to change role and warehouse which confuses, auto detection option if provided will be helpful

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customisation of views for access restrictions, and purpose restrictions
Snowflake Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and incorporates multiple languages besides SQL
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have as many integrations as I would've liked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake consolidates all of our data into a single destination making it easier to secure
Powerful platform for managing data
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake makes it easy to dive in and start loading, querying, and analyzing your data with minimal setup. Unlike with some competitors ' solutions, there's no infrastructure as code to write. Data sharing is extremely powerful and has virtually eliminated the lift of vendor data integration. Scaling up the warehouse is as easy as a few lines of SQL or a few clicks in the UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Worksheets are convenient to write SQL quickly, but these quickly get out of hand. Ideally these could be synced with a Git repository so we don't have to reach for DBT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake, through their data exchange and secure data shares, allows us to integrate data from vendors with virtually no integration effort.
My experience with Integrating Snowflake with Tableau
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about snowflake is the security and compliance in my opinion. Snowflake being compliant with various security standards such as HIPAA, GDPR and others kinda makes it reliable and secure and moreover considering Snowflake's service of total management where a user doesnt have to worry about infrastructure, management and tuning of the data accordingly.
Time Travel and Cloning is just icing to the high performance and speed snowflake offers. Additionally, Colloboration and secure data sharing makes it so easy for lot of software engineers to collab.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing primarily is very unpredictable even though it is cost effective due its scalable features but it can get really expensive when is not montiored properly. Since the users pay for compute time and storage seperately, unexpected spikes in queries, large data ingestion, or poor optimization can result in higher bills. The learning curve for the new users gets complicated in terms of Sql extensions and virtual warehousing sizing because it took me some time to understand the sizing and it was more like a trial and error because it lead me either under provisioning or over provisioning the resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly my understanding is that it is targeted to solve critical problems of data management and analytics specially where large and complex datasets are being handled. There are many scaling issues with on-prem and various cloud based data warehouses. They keep facing issues as the datasets grows which leads to performance bottlenecks and slow query times but snowflake's architecture allowed me to sclae storage and compute resourcres independently which lead to my company paying for onlu what we used which actually benefitted us in the long run.
