Seamless journey from compliance management through the audit process .
What do you like best about the product?
The platform handles everything from policies and procedures that fit our purpose to the breaking down of these into controls and those into action items, complete with cadence, tracking and alerts! It integrates with our productivity apps and the team provide guidance right from development of the policies all the way to audit preparation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform was under development through the process so sometimes you would notice broken functionality or have to look for something that had been moved from where it was before
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complexity associated with compliance. Thoropass put everything in an interelated platform that took away this and added expert guidance to the process making it enjoyable rather than stress

What do you like best about the product?
I have been working closely with Thoropass since the initial outreach, and we are currently in the middle of the SOC 2 Type I readiness for Audit. I must say, it has been a great experience so far. Navigating the journey to compliance can be overwhelming and expensive for a start-up, but the Thoropass platform has effectively managed the steps and milestones. They have been very understanding that, as a start-up, we have limited time and resources. The technical team has been incredibly supportive without being pushy, and the built-in integrations have streamlined our work and evidence-gathering, which has been extremely beneficial.
I look forward to seeing how Thoropass will save us time and money on future annual SOC 2 Type 2 audits.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see Thoropass's platform include additional integration with other background check solutions, tracking employee performance reviews, and apps like NodeZero.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a next-generation tele-emergent care service that offers phone and video-based access exclusively to Emergency Medicine physicians for workplace injuries and general telehealth. We recognize the importance of governance and security controls for our company's success and trust. To ensure compliance, we are implementing the Thoropass solution to establish our compliance management program, including obtaining SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 accreditation. This will allow a more seamless and cost-efficient process for future annual SOC 2 Type 2 Audits.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropasse's built in controls, and roadmaps make obtaining and maintaining compliance quite simple. By breaking things down and by providing prebuilt templates as a starting point it's easy to shift or integrate your current policies into Thoropass. The support team is amazing, they are able to quickly provide feedback, and guidance on any number of issues, or questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI was quite buggy, this may have been a problem as an early adopter, but the Thoropass team have been able to quickly fix the issues, and the UI issues have been pretty stable for a while now. The tool has a lot of nice features, but I do feel some of them are rudimentary at best. Even thought they often add increased functionality it often comes at a later date. I do wish that features were more fully developed when initially launched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business/startup providing services to a heavily regulated industry, dedicating resources to developing and maintaining compliance is quite time consuming. Thoropass allows us to save time by providing a central solution that is easy to use, while reducing the time needed to obtain and maintain compliance.
Step by step SOC Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I was plaeased with the level of integrations Thoropass embedded in their system for direct data collection from the sources in the cloud. The use of cloud connectors to collect evidence and real time data has made our job much easier. I was also pleased with the personal support we received, and detailed step by step guidance we got from the CSM or online.
What do you dislike about the product?
The approach requires a company to have certain level of maturity in their technology roadmap. Startups who have gaps between active projects and/or different green fields may have problems getting contiguous streams of acceptable data to complete some of the requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with Thoropass gives us confidence responding to RFPs requiring certifications of compliane an security. This is a fundamental advantage and one that is commonly a hurdle for new entrants in established industrial fields.

What do you like best about the product?
A checklist of action items and examples is extremely helpful for companies that are new to SOC 2. The account manager was also very helpful in guiding us through the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requiring a six-month audit instead of a three-month audit may be excessive for small start-ups.

Providing guidance to achieve SOC 2 compliance and enhance the security and availability of our platform.
Thoropass for SOC 2 Simplification
What do you like best about the product?
The concept of uploading evidence for the SOC 2 controls in a single platform that can be audited directly on the platform was the main appeal for us. This saves time and effort duplicating work and works in a very efficient manner. You can assign controls to colleagues in each department. The other benefit of this platform is the ability to perform an internal risk assessment and third-party due diligence which means a single place for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen any downside in using this platform as it's simplifying the SOC 2 audit, maybe if you already have an existing GRC platform there will be some overlap but you can still use this as a standalone software to speed up the SOC 2 process and it's likely still no more expensive than hiring auditors and doing the process manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All assessments and controls in one place with direct access for the auditor.
Thoropass SOC 2 - Outstanding
What do you like best about the product?
We were very pleased with the overall process from the initial product over, to the onboarding and then the final issuance of an audit. The platform was easy to use, very cost effective for a start up organization and the customer support was amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were no real downsides to using Thoropass that I could identify

MedCompli needed to quickly update our SOC 2 Type 1 and we also wanted to be set up to obtain our Type 2.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass provided the exact process support as expected, performed all tasks in time, that was most important requirement. The system has several integrations, which can be implemented easely and make all process easier. And of course great customer support

There is nothing to dislike in my opinion.
