Great tool for Due Diligence Questionnaires!
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass is a helpful tool that makes our lives easier as we respond to due dligence questionnaires. They have a helpful library that stores responses, data rooms to upload and share documents easily, and they are even exploring using AI to further automate this in the future. It is easy to use, they always seek product feedback, and we use it for every DDQ that comes through the door.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thoropass doesn't always make it easy to collaborate cross functionally and with additional stakeholders within the tool. We'd love to see more collaboration options in the future so we can respond to questionnaires and collaborate all in one spot!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass enables us to efficiently respond to vendor security and compliance questionnaires. It saves us time and helps us automate responses, while maintaining a strong response library to ensure we are responding accurately and thoroughly for all clients.

Easy to use with a communicative team!
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass breaks down the compliance requirements into actionable steps and has a team that is collaborative and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little getting used to, and it some non-intuitive features. For example, you need to complete some audit-prep work in the platform before using the actual audit module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us close deals quicker and improve our security posture by guiding us through SOC 2.

What do you like best about the product?
The well-structured road map Thoropass offers and the support they give at each stage a business must take to accomplish its objective. The technology they've built has greatly enhanced our experience. We have benefited much from Olivia's weekly check-ins to make sure we are moving along as planned. The ability to integrate with many systems has been quite beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, the team and tool has been perfectly desgined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting our business process aligned. We started working with them to get our SOC 2 compliance. However, we've been utilizing the monitoring feature, have plans of performing Pen tests and other security best practices with them.

None that I can think of at this time. The teams customer support and overall platform experience have been great to work with so far.

Thoropass is helping us out with our SOC and PCI audits as well as being there as a referral partner for the same services to Industry relationships we have already.

I like that Thoropass streamlines compliance management by automating processes, providing expert guidance, and offering a user-friendly interface. Features like continuous monitoring, vendor management, and integration capabilities, help me efficiently achieve and maintain compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup can be difficult without a walkthrough. Not all features were fully available when we first signed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass allows us to manage vendors with the vendor tool . We use the security to get an overview of the current security posture. We use the auditing tool to evaluate the status of our audit and list outstanding items from our audit. These tools allow us to focus on the actual work needed for security, auditing and vendor management without spending so much time managing things and reporting status.

What we liked most about Thoropass was its user-friendly design and the significant time savings it provided through automation and centralized documentation. The comprehensive frameworks for both SOC 2 and HIPAA were thorough and well-structured. However, there was initially a bit of a learning curve to fully utilize all features, and some customization options were limited, requiring us to adapt certain processes to fit the platform.

It took some time for our team to get accustomed to the platform and leverage its full potential. Additionally, some customization options were limited, which required us to adapt certain processes to fit the platform rather than tailoring the platform to our specific needs. This sometimes meant additional manual work to bridge the gaps where Thoropass's functionalities fell short of our requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At OpComm, ensuring the highest standards of data security and compliance is a top priority. When we needed to achieve SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance, Thoropass proved to be an excellent choice. For SOC 2 compliance, Thoropass made the process smooth and manageable. The automated controls and continuous monitoring saved us a lot of time and effort, while centralized documentation simplified both internal reviews and audits. The risk assessment tools provided clear insights and actionable steps to mitigate threats, and the clear checklists and guidance ensured we were always ready for an audit. HIPAA compliance was equally straightforward with Thoropass. The tailored HIPAA framework covered all necessary safeguards, and the easy creation and updating of policies kept us aligned with regulations. Helpful resources and training modules improved our team’s understanding of HIPAA requirements, and efficient incident tracking and management ensured timely reporting and resolution.

I have not found any reason to dislike anything at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have not completed the audit; however, based on my experience working with Thoropass I expect they will help me with any rework I will be required to complete. Obtaining SOC-2 compliance without Thoropass would not have worked. I needed the structure and support that Thoropass is providing.
SOC2 for business is required and Toropass has been great partner for us to achieve the results

Highlight of the service - People - very knowledgable and always ready to help / guide to achieve the results, great platform which automate half of the tasks, persistent support and simplified process.

Not that I can think of anything. Everything has been smooth and as per expectations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our customer requires us to provide SOC 2 Type 2 certificate to ensure out systems and processes are secured. Thoropass helped us achieve the certificate.
Great partner to acheve compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing our company got from Thoropass is the big amount of documents, templates, and other materials which were made available for us. Together with professional consulting, it allowed us to build our own compliance infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of preparation to audits sometimes took more time than expected. However our company's representatives themselves didn't have enough time to spend for that in some periods of time.

Building everything in our company to be SOC 2 compliant
