What do you like best about the product?
Great customer success experience. Super responsive and helped me with any questions I had.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Type I audit experience could have been faster / quicker turnaround time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped us become SOC 2 compliant, which helps us maintain our security posture.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very easy to use. The team are always available for guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I had a demo I felt confident using the platform but others may be a little intimidated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used them to help us with our SOC2 audit.
Compliance Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The expert knowledge of the Thoropass team was vital in our journey towards compliance. Their team was consistently available to provide high level answers that were rooted in experience. As far as the application, the setup and integration could not be simpler. It took little very little time to hit the ground running.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor features in the portal that could be improved upon such as the UI or the ability to integrate with an LMS for compliance training tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass gives you access to a team of proven experts who are knowledgeable in security and compliance functions, architecture and auditing processes. Thoropass also provides an intuitive user interface that helps your team to organize, plan and execute on the complex task of compliance and auditing.
Simple and cheap way to become SOC 2 Compliance

Some slight tech issues for setting up access to linked third-party providers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass makes it super easy to become SOC 2 compliant. Our industry cares a lot about security and we want to build trust with out customers. Becoming SOC 2 compliant is the gold standard to make that happen.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has been crucial in helping us achieve our SOC 2 certification. The platform's interface significantly helped us navigate the framework requirements, reducing our team's workload. The support team is responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thoropass does not currently offer a live chat option for contacting support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass has helped us by automating key processes and centralizing security oversight, reducing our manual workload.
Solid partner in SOC2 journey!
What do you like best about the product?
Having platform, support and audit bundled into one solution is really convinient
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are still some limitations to the dashboard, where you have to keep track of progress/notes internally to make collaboration a bit easier.

Providing SOC2 platform, guidance and audit.
Compliance in one place, from creation to certification and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
Working with their team of advisors, the templates with best practices, and compliance milestones all helped our team of two tackle the problems of preparing our organization for SOC2 compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the initial templates that have been provided over time have been on the clunkier side. Also the UI can be difficult to get adjusted to at first. However these are areas where as time as gone on, they have taken time to make steady incremental improvements.

Thoropass helped us get our documentation in order to become SOC2 Compliance and attest we are HIPAA compliant
So much less manual work to document processes and evidence
What do you like best about the product?
I have done HIPAA and Hitrust audits in the past and it required a lot of work to cross reference controls and policies and procedures. Thoropass eliminated the "administrivia" of manually linking documents in Google Docs or MS Word to streamline the process so we can get ti the hear of the issue, compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, I did not like was the short timeout and the two pass login, once for user and another for password. Seemed like I was clicking on my password manager way too frequently!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to implement SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2. The Thorpass portal with connections to our cloud infrastructure automated compliance checks.
itopia's experience with Thoropass has been excellent during SOC-2 prep and the actual SOC-2 audit!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire staff is knowledgeable about their respective areas, flexible with scheduling calls and extremely responsive with questions and concerns. A special shout-out to our CSM at Thoropass - Alex Scudellari. Alex is always available when we need him and stays on top of all processes to ensure speed and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not identified any areas of concern at this point with Thoropass. We are entering Year 3 with their team. We look forward to working with them going forward and establishing a long-term partnership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our SOC-2 report is extremely important to ensure as a Technology/SaaS company that we have all the critical controls and oversight in place. Our customers rely on our technology to deliver mission-critical applications to their employee base, it is absolutely imperative our underlying architecture and security protocols are at the highest standard.
Quick response times and lots of help walking us through the process.
What do you like best about the product?
They understand the process and are able to communicate that clearly. Alex Scudellari has been great as our liaison. Always responsive and puts us in touch with the right people. We had a different type of environment and they were willing to be flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the uploading of information gets a bit tedious, but that's how the audit process works.

SCO2 audit. Will help us with customer acceptance of our products.
