What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems has proven to be a game-changer for our development workflow, dramatically accelerating and simplifying DevOps processes across the board. Its intuitive low-code platform streamlines deployment pipelines, reduces manual overhead, and enables seamless integration with existing tools, allowing our team to focus more on delivering value than wrestling with infrastructure. What’s truly remarkable is how OutSystems fosters a culture of innovation—by lowering technical barriers, it empowers developers of all skill levels to experiment, iterate, and contribute creatively. The result is a more agile, collaborative environment where ideas flourish and solutions come to life faster than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the key drawbacks I’ve experienced with OutSystems is its heavy reliance on a stable internet connection. While the platform excels in streamlining development and deployment, its cloud-centric architecture means that even minor connectivity issues can disrupt productivity. This dependency can be particularly frustrating in environments with inconsistent network access or when working remotely from areas with limited bandwidth. It creates a bottleneck for developers who need offline flexibility or uninterrupted access to their tools. For teams that value autonomy and resilience in their workflows, this constant tethering to the internet can feel limiting and counterproductive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems is solving a critical challenge that many enterprises face: the slow and often fragmented process of translating user requirements into functional applications. By leveraging its low-code environment, OutSystems enables teams across my organization to rapidly capture, iterate, and implement user needs with remarkable agility. The platform’s collaborative tools and visual development interface streamline communication between business and IT, reducing bottlenecks and accelerating delivery timelines. This speed and responsiveness not only improve stakeholder satisfaction but also empower teams to adapt quickly to changing demands, making innovation a continuous and achievable goal.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use , simple integrations, 24 active support and the learning experience by far the most friendly way to learn code
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly the price. It's a premium product so it comes with this downside but its by far the best option on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything about this platform, from coding and database management to architecture and delivery, feels far more efficient compared to traditional development methods. Even deploying applications is simpler, as there is no need for GitHub, making the process much easier to handle.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed of implementation especially as an backend integrations developer, makes the process of connecting our front ends to our core infrastructure very streamlined
What do you dislike about the product?
The SQL query editor couldn’t have more functionality even if aggregates can do most jobs some things need to be done manually and to have a better tool for it would be good

What do you like best about the product?
Prebuilt components and CRUD operations are the best from this platform. To be able to create apps in minutes, specially with AI is very good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can improve in terms of front end development. E.G a better canvas visual feedback in Service Studio, be able to remove unnecessary code generated by the platform. A better version control with commit message in each publish would be nice too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems let us create MVPs very fast due to its prebuilt tools and integrations and that is veryy important to get new clients and projects.

OutSystems leading and adapting to the market

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems has made a smart turnaround by bringing back support for OutSystems 11 (O11) — a move that reassured long-time users and showed responsiveness to real enterprise needs. Alongside that, its integration of AI tools like the AI Mentor System and AI Agent Builder is helping teams build faster, with better quality and governance. The platform is evolving beyond traditional low-code, embracing cloud, DevOps, and team enablement. While complexity and pricing transparency still need attention, OutSystems is clearly adapting well — not just keeping up with the market, but actively shaping the future of enterprise app development.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m still learning about it and ejoying everything of it. Lots to come ahed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a non tech person it gave me the chance to work in it. Which was great
