Nice and Fast Technology
What do you like best about the product?
The speed with which it is possible to create an application even with complicated business rules allows you to save a lot of time in implementation and increase the time spent in planning them
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it makes it easy to write code allows anyone to use the technology even if they don't have a basic understanding of good programming practices, which can lead to some problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it much easier to integrate with Web Services, which in a normal programming language would be more work than it is with Outsystems. So the use of REST and SOAP in Outsystems is a very relevant benefit.

Outsystems is more than a tool with a future, it is the future of massive application development.
What do you like best about the product?
Modular development. The possibility to create modules allows a great autonomy at the same time that promotes team work. The integrations in forge, promoted by the fantastic community also make the use of Outsystems much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not open to all languages and the process of taking source code from the applications that are built is also quite difficult to carry out. On another different point, the prices charged only allow it to be available to large enterprises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the world's biggest problems at the moment is the difficulty in guaranteeing qualified labor in the technology field. This way Outsystems can solve 2 problems, the lack of manpower, because it is relatively easier to learn to program with Outsystems, and the lack of time, producing an application faster than if it was necessary to use programming languages.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Build a CRM in a fast ant intuitive way
Awesome way to develop apps
What do you like best about the product?
The auto-fill, the very easy drag and drop way of working, the fact that it automatically creates everything you need... but most important the community with which you can learn so many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the documentation could be way better. Yes, the community and the Forge are here to help but I would really appreciate a more detailed documentation on each component, with examples, screenshots, and most important: links to the related courses! Some courses are very well explained but I 100% always struggle to find again a subject when I look for it and I remember the video of the course was very explicit. Also if we could never have robotic voices for the video courses it would be absolutely awesome. A human voice with hesitations, stops, and stresses on important aspects of the courses helps a lot more the brain to focus, understand and remember the given informations than this kind of google translate voice that we may have in some courses (it totally turns off my brain).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With OutSystems we simply stop wasting time on repetitive things that have a very low return on investment. We are able to spend time on what really matters and use this gained time to improve the business and add value to it.
Future Is Heading Towards Low Code

The time we take to build an app is much less than the other competitors in the market. Outsystems help us to deliver application faster to market which helps our Client to prosper.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the technology is pretty much new as compared to other legacy languages, it can happen that you may not find the solution to every problem but you always have help from the great Outsystems Community if your stuck.

What do you dislike about the product?
easily define monitoring any data is not at possible without efforts

Architecture Dashboard helps best practices and avoid common pitfalls.
Good, but still a long way to be perfect
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to learn and you can create things that usually required days in a few minutes.
The flow interface is awesome, I wish I could have something like that a "normal" programming language.

What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems does a lot, but not everything.
It's frustrating when you cannot perform a simple task because there are limitations in the components or in the architecture.
For example, you cannot paginate data from the local storage and there is no way to overcome it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need to learn how to develop a mobile application.
Outsystems is easy to use once getting over a somewhat steep learning curve.
What do you like best about the product?
I like ServiceSTudio's node system. The event-system was also nice to mess with. I also enjoy how it's laid out kind of like VS Forms or Unity with components you can just drag and drop into a screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be a general lack of interesting tutorials available for most topics in ServiceStudio. I would like to be able to look up some easy courses somewhere without a boring robotic-sounding voice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know. Probably plenty.
