Easiest step to get into programming
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems is the easiest step into programming. You work with modules and simply configure what it should do.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a real "nerd" i'd sometimes would like to see more in dept things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm rebuilding a backend and might even go rebuilding the frontend. Since it works very visually it give a complete oversight.

The fast way do deliver new apps, disrupting with past/old processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price of the solution; availability of resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New processes within the company, having a way to work better abd faster
A developers dream
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems allows a developer to focus on the end product without having to worry about every single line of code. Gone of the days of repeatedly writing SELECT FROM!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lack of visibility of the database layer which can make reporting difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have provided customers to pay their bills via a mobile app and check their balance. This has significantly reduced incoming calls to our support centre.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get someone to show you how quickly you can produce an application and you'll be converted.
Developing fast and secure
What do you like best about the product?
Developing with OS give clarity our logic ("code") and makes our application way more secure than if we do it custom made. If that was not enough it allows to present results much faster than the traditional development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the license model such that can be supported by SMEs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a lot of time to lunch our product and OS allowed us to have a ready product in less than 1 year.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and scalability, it applies to most of the business cases that we have and serves a wide veriety of requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need development expertise before start and it is difficult to find good external partners to support. There are many junior developers but they are not sufficiently skilled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple workflow automatization and digitalization.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the most of OutSystems development tool, that it is easy to learn, fast development, fast visual results and endless possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike the most of OutSystems is that in my point of view the testing functionalities is still a bit behind, compared to all the rest of OutSystems.

With our apps we create more transparancy and flexibility to the business. We create web apps and mobile apps for all levels in the company.
Great Platform, Easy to pick up
What do you like best about the product?
How quickly I was able to pick up and start developing in OutSystems. How quick it is to develop applications, and really meet the requirements of the business using a fail fast methodology.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a difference between OutSystems guided path and Best Practice. You learn how to use Outsystems, then learn how to REALLY use OutSystems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have become more competitive because of the applications we are developing. We are able to better support and monitor our assets. The applications we have development would have taken years to create traditionally and cost a fortune from OTS solutions

Try and forget traditional development methods and trust in the OutSystems way.
Fast developing with Outsystems
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful of Outsystems is the fast development and the easy that is to do the implementation, it's very easy to implement with other softwares and to integrate with Rest API's

The support: sometimes when are bugs from Outsystems itself that we cannot solve, the support takes too long
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transforming the entire company to Outsystems and the idea is to change the entire technology to Outsystmes

Outsystems is very good. The implementation was easy and the development itself is very fast and the customers appreciate it.

scalability, fast development, fast change, and fast integration of new elements on the team

understand in some case what provoke some crash or efficiency en terms of the platform response

change from as400 system to a full response web app and mobile app for the agents and commercial lines work with the clients
