An Amazing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
An amazing platform that is very developer friendly.
It is a low-code platform in which it's possible to create web and mobile apps.
OutSystems also have a Community that really helps in the forums and with a forge that have handy components.

What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation and tutorial videos could be in more languages.
But the major bad side of OutSystems is the Pricing. It's forbidden to a small business or a group of startups or something like that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With OutSystems it's very easy and fast to develop apps. It allows me as a developer to focus on what is being asked by the clients. In career wise it took me to another level. And for the future I'm investing my future on it.
The best tool in LowCode
What do you like best about the product?
Entirely in the cloud, easy to use, and complete learning tools, in a few days, someone with development knowledge can achieve what with any other tool would take weeks, fully parameterizable, user-friendly with support in different languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, in particular, I have nothing that I can define as that I wouldn't say I like it, it is a complete tool, if I had to think about the price for small organizations, it would not be a problem either due to the capabilities it gives them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Availability of cloud platform, integration with the domain, rapid implementation of medium and complex solutions, the ability to use multiple front-end platforms, drag and drop of components for the organization, the delivery of solutions to customers improved remarkably, and deadlines were shortened to less than half.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just getting excited, using the trials and training tools provided by the tool is the best starting point. Reading the forums and the OutSystems user community is significant.

The "way of doing things" can be very different for developers from a traditional coding background. It can be challenging for them to adopt a new way of working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has allowed us to build a foundation upon which we can deploy applications to the business.

The AI-Assisted seamless development structure of the tool is so amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with functions in aggregates takes time to load and the Service Studio crashes in between.

Any web development can be done with little/very low code

App development process has been made much simpler and faster for mobile and web development. Using integration studio alongside service studio we have found the platform integrates well with existing systems and has not been restricting.

Having to republish modules in several environments after platform updates regularly. I think Outsystems could be hand this more intuitively within lifetime

We use the platform for various business processes (web apps) and field service functionality (mobile apps). The benefits are much-accelerated development time.

What do you like best about the product?
easy development no need to remember syntax. ability to create mobile app easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The latest CORDOVA uses ECMA6. Since OutSystems support mobile app development, OutSystems can provide some basic functionality so that we don't have to find 3rd party plugins. Native experience is not available in mobile applications example, calendar, dropdown, etc widgets in android mobile and IOS. Bottom bar behavior in mobiles on opening the keyboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Banking application, SCM, its much faster and easier than developing in a traditional code like c#; Time to complete an application is much faster. single code for both mobile and web, can develop for android and ios also

The impossibility to making simples queries (selects) in production

I solved problems in reactive version and offering benefits to our customers,causing a better user experience

What do you like best about the product?
Visual part, quick application construction, content organization, available training. Forge is very useful for components that are needed, and the outsystems community is always ready to help with any questions that may arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard not to like something about Outsystems, maybe you don't really like the part of the time lost in refreshing dependicies . Outasystems is the best software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving problems that before required many hours wasted by several people in the company, now with the applications we are creating we can make people really focus on what's important. With the rapid developments of Outsystems, we were able to help the customer to simplify processes quickly.

The IDE that OutSystems uses was user-friendly to develop the code and debug easily.

Advanced SQL widget can be improved by using an error tracker

What do you like best about the product?
Its a whole new way to develop, i started working, and I'm amazed with how easy it is, if you practice you can become a great developer in like six months, OutSystems is incredible
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no big complaints about the software, i missed the dark mode but now I see they implemented that, and I'm very grateful for that, I would like more forum about the software for the newcomers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have started developing this year and i am still in training, but i could develop some applications all by miself and i am very proud of doing that, i believe all the company is happy to work with outsystems
