  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outsystems is a great tool, it gives you the possibility to create web and mobile applications much faster than other tools or programming languages, it is very easy to learn for advanced developers because you need to know how web/mobile works to start creating it in OutSystems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using mac book M1 and sometimes it works slow on mac and sometimes it crushes, also you it will be good if you will add java language in integration studio like it was in 10 th version and if you will add a one-click update reference button it will be awesome too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is fast, version control is very good which is implemented inside OutSystems and it is easy to refactor or modify code if needed

Until now, I really don't think there are much more of issues, and the problems that we found, outsystems support always did the effort to improve in next releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our environments we had a couple of issues going on with integrations with another apps, that were easily solved by the team. We appreciate some of the new functionalities that are coming out in this newest versions.

Easy programming for well developed solutions

  • July 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about OutSystems is that programming is very intuitive. Also, you can search for documentation on the official website or the forums where lots of people comment and participate. The way of programming in OutSystems makes it easy for new developers to start.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful part is that you can't group up actions, variables or aggregates in foulders. By having foulders users could group up all of these and organize better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me with my programming skills, mostly with SQL that I didn't know much. Now, with the documentation and practicing with the courses I can develop SQL that are quite more complex than before.

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems has all the capabilities for developing enterprise-grade Omni-channel applications. More importantly, it has a great learning path for beginners and/or citizen developers. A great community of experts and consultants, across industries, definitely makes OS a tool to consider for Digital Transformation initiatives.
Added to this, the flexibility of deployment and use as well as no vendor lock-in is a definite plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems is definitely a tool for larger enterprises that have a strategic vision to build and use a sizable number of high-quality applications. For smaller organizations, the price and even the pricing model can be a barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the barrier to application development and improving the agility of deploying innovative solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
1-Click publish is an amazing experience. The performance of the output is ideal. By dragging and dropping elements you can cut the UI/UX design to the minimum. Its DevOps capabilities make it in an advanced position compared with its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is too high, and they don't have such plans for startups or small businesses. It's nice if they have some activate program like AWS to enable the entrepreneurs to start their low-code journey easily.

Developing fully customized internal portals to accommodate my business needs quickly and without paying for extra tools. Also to avoid developing native code and having big technical debt.

Agility in software development

  • July 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The development tool is practical and provides agility in the delivery of the final product, in addition to the support tools where we can perform deployments, view logs and monitor detailed analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't had any problems with the platform. What still needs to be matured is the amount of content to solve problems on google, even if the forum has a lot of content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Schedule automation for opening work orders automatically. Flows for health plan quotes. Reverse logistic. Coupling with maps and dashboards in an agile way. Few people on development teams.
