Performance and Testing of REST API
What do you like best about the product?
There are tabs for hostroy and saved collections which are folder like structure of Same type of API calls. It supports All the HTTP calls, like POST, GET, DELETE, PUT, etc. Postman has great feature of providing request data and endpoints. You also can specify what type of data this request is carrying.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is great tool with great capabilities. It even generated code for the specified languages of request. So there is nothing to dislike about postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used postman mostly for testing of API developed by me or other team members. I used it to measure performance and security of API. Postman helped me avoid some security flows and boosted performance of API.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advice students mostly who have not even heard or used postman. While developing assignments and semester projects you can get extra help from Postman to test your APIs and start further development. It is mostly used in organization level. but anyone can use it as it is simple to learn on first sight of it.

Postman is the test tool for developers and students
What do you like best about the product?
Postman has the most important test methods that are POST, GET, VIEW, LOCK, UNLOCK and many more. The best thing is that it allows to store data of tests carried out. In addition, it has a simple user interface, so it is not necessary to be an advanced user to carry out a test. I also like to be able to customize the interface and change its color.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Postman eliminates the API tests, because it is very easy to forget the URLs or what was requested, besides the body code. The history of the tests should always be maintained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very easy to test my APIs developed in PHP to verify its correct functioning. I did not need technical knowledge to learn how to use this program, because the learning curve is very short. In addition, it also allows me to test APIs created in Java.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend the use of Postman for the development of API. It is a powerful tool and it will be very easy to use or learn to use. In addition, there is a lot of online documentation to guide you in your tests or developments.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to save your queries to quickly resend them are useful when testing large systems. But whats better - Postman has such a beautiful User Interface! It is clear, easy to navigate, and prioritises important functions. By taking all of the confusion out of navigating their interface, the team at Postman have given us a product that not only works flawlessly, but doesn't confuse us as users!
What do you dislike about the product?
It might just be me, but Postman seems to run with an abnormally high RAM usage for such a small application, especially when idle in the background. Aside from that, the limit on the number of free calls seems like a lot (1000), until you use it up, which I have done on occasion when building APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman allows easy testing of APIs, either to test functionality of an API you plan on using, or to test one that you are building yourself. Having the ability to quickly and easily send and receive messages, and inspect them also, has been a game changer. I have saved so much time by quickly spinning up Postman to verify if something is working as expected. Postman doesn't disappoint!

Get it. Postman doesn't disappoint. And its free! Whats not to love?

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very easy to use and lightweight tool for APIs. We are using this for API testing. Its has programming features which allows to write code to generate values in Pre Requisite or Test scripts. It also has Global or environment variables concept which is handy.
We can create test cases with validations and can schedule the execution using Runner. The free version of Postman itself is sufficient for small teams.
Postman's Newman plugin is used for command line integration and it helps to integrate with automation tools.

The free version allows only few number of API requests for a team. Newman can make it more easier to implement and use

What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly interface is best. It helps developers a lot while designing APIs. It is very easy to use. And factor of accuracy is above all. It's easy to download even in Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't found many downsides of postman till now. Only the major problem I faced it get hang and slow easily. And this problem specially increases in Linux environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have designed many API with help of postman. It's too easy to use we donot have to worry about client side code. Postman takes care of everything that we have to send in requests. And best part it's user friendly interface.

Yes I highly recommend this to other, it's very easy to use and give accurate results

What do you like best about the product?
Many resources and tools greatly facilitate working with Maven and the Spring Framework. As a developer testing my API before deploying or integrating it, I realize if my code is secure and functioning as expected, allowing me to test in different environments while securely storing environment-specific variables, so I don't need to re-enter any information or have many tabs open to test the same thing. I like how Postman allows us to test APIs collaboratively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no criticism of the product Navigating through the app can be a bit difficult for beginner users I have no criticism of the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Also used for developing APIs for MongoDB databases. Also used for developing APIs for MongoDB databases. I have been testing APIs for backend and frontend side.

Postman is a great API development tool. Postman is very useful in API testing. There's much more to it than that.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very interactive and reduces the amount of code you have to deal with. If you are familiar with the basic concepts surrounding API, then exploratory testing is very easy to do. Automated processes are also possible but these do require more experience.
Besides it has a really nice interface, with the option of having a black background in order to reduce the strain on your eyes, which is handy when you spend several hours testing the performance of APIs in development.

Postman so far has performed as I expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Postman to improve my company's web commerce front end, and making sure the data collection is done securely and efficiently. I have also come to realize that many websites don't secure their APIs, which is an interesting analysis made through Postman tools.
Quick API REST testing
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to test my APIs with ease and speed. Postman accepts the most common request methods and generates a response that apart from the usual Raw format, has the option to appear in a Pretty format, one more intelligible for the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inside a Postman request I can build Headers or Keys that I may want to use in a different request, but Postman does not allow to copy these internal structures, forcing me to duplicate the whole request, move it to another folder, and then modify it accordingly, which all seems unnecessarily complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My primary goal has been testing the services of my own APIs and adjusting the front end of our web pages accordingly.
Postman also allows working on a project simultaneously with my colleagues and keeping track of versions through its file sharing feature.
