The Close management tool you need
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface. Smooth implementation. Ease of use. Relatively easy to manage. Expands on user features. Is customer oriented and addresses the challenges that acocunting team has. Reduces administrative burden for keeping track of close tasks and reconciliations. Integrates well with Netsuite ERP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not provide feature to open files up in Excel, or restrict access to opening up things in Gsheet (since incompatible excel formulas may be corrupted when opening up in Gsheets). Limited project management functionality (although this seems to be a new feature offering).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to address challenges of keeping track of reconciliations, clearly delegating reconclition responsibiliites, ensuring timely compliance with reconciliation and chekclist items, having a central repositary of checklist items, and monitoring our close.

Floqast has been very user friendly and make close and reconciliation tasks easy to manage.
What do you like best about the product?
The floqast sit is easy to navigate, and it allows users to easily see and filter their tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The refresh time after uploading documents to in Floqast take a bit too long sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast is actively solving and improving the time taken for uploading and refreshing information.

What do you like best about the product?
Product development actually listens to their customers to continuously enhance the product. Secondarily, the functionality has been great for our use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system limitation whereas we can only have a certain amount of entities per log-in. That has caused multiple issues with our staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem the firm had was determining what work was needed vs. who was doing the work. There was no transparency on the work being done nor when it was being done. There were instances that our staff hadn't done any work on clients for months.

What do you like best about the product?
Without Floqast, we would still be struggling to complete our annual audit in a timely manner. Now our PBC is complete before the auditors arrive and our initial selections are completed within the week requested.
Monthly close is so much faster. We have eliminated late entries and keep moving other entries earlier in the month.
Reports to senior leaders are accurate and timely.
The Floqast team is responsive and asks great questions. We have seen improvements over the years like dependencies and attachments to check lists that keep everyone on the same page.

What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of emails are sent to us that noone really looks at. Some folks who have only a few items forget to login because of all the noise from email. We just suggested a connection to "to do's" in outlook or maybe something of that manner.

Business Outsourcing Accounting Manager
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast is a fantastic software for month closes processes and for overall workflow management. I have been using it for almost 5 years and every year they continue to add new features to streamline processes. If you use a software that connects directly (like NetSuite, QBO, or Intacct among others) then this is the absolute #1 software to use. It is more flexible than something like Blackline, but with features that they are adding (like journal entries pushed to the accounting software) I feel like FloQast is closing any gaps while maintaining its flexibility on workpapers that I feel works well for small to larger mid-market companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of being so innovative and constantly adding features is that some features can be a little buggy at first (never for long) and sometimes features can get updates when you don't expect it. They always have a pop up to inform on new features or changes as they are released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is first and foremost a top notch month close management software, but it has been improving to allow you to use it as a general workflow management software as well.

The most helpful items of FQ include:

What do you dislike about the product?
Its bank reconciliation feature has the ability to identify what is missing from a matching perspective, but doesn't propose the entry to be booked.

Elevated quarter end experience
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast has changed the way our quarterly deliverables are organized, analyzed and reviewed. Throughout the past several years we've expanded our use to incorporate all tasks, not those just completed for the quarter end binder that are required by the team. This allows for seamless transition to new staff or transferring staff and confirms no deliverables are missed. What we like most about FloQast is their ability to listen to their customers and make changes or improvements to the platform. The platform has an extremely friendly interface that makes implementation and daily use easy, so as we expand the program to other departments that has been a big sell.
What do you dislike about the product?
To our team, there is no downside of using FloQast, I just wish we were setup to use more of the platforms abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reconciling underlying workbooks to the daily imported trial balance confirming documents are complete and accurate. Compiling all tasks with appropriate deadlines confirming no deliverables are missed.

This product is super helpful in tracking our close progress and allows us to find weak points easier with end of month reporting.

You get what you pay for - but FloQast is a little pricy compared to competitors!

Simple, User-friendly and Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, speed and ease of use. Integration with SAP. Maybe the best customer support so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides identified so far. Sometimes, it's not super straightforward to take action after a review note is assigned. For example, I get a review note assigned to change something on a checklist task and I am re-directed to the Folders menu, where I am not able to click on the settings/change task button which is available on the Checklist menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is bringing all closing tasks, responsible people and deadlines in one place, easy-to-access/see/analzye. It highlights areas of improvement by easily identifying missing/late/unreconciled items. It also incentivizes responsible users do their tasks properly and on time.
Good Product
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I implemented Floqast a couple of years agao now to help manage our close process across our multiple business units. The adoption by the team happened quickly, due its ease of use and the ability to use templates we had already created. Another great feature is the drect integration to Sage Intacct and auto rec features have improved our reconcilaition and saved a good amount of time for the more complex accounts. Since it has been implemented it has allowed us to cut our close time by a week.
I also have been very happy with their customer support team implementation of features. We had a use case to need a feature added to allow Admin access to individual workflows. The team was very receptive to this request and even work with myself in getting the featured added to the system which has been invaluable.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only small item that we disliked about Floqast was when we first implemented the product the autmatching function was onyl for Bank reconcilaitions and we had to come up with a seperate process in order to use the functionally. I beleive this has since been addressed with the implementation of their AI matching tool and can't wait to see it in action.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Floqast help solve for us was in the close process, allowing us to get our books closed faster and in a more efficient manner. It has also helped us with Balance sheet reconciliations through the auto matching and other functionalites to make it all more efficient.
