Using FloQast for Closing the books
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with our ERP. I can always have confidence that the books are closed and staying closed because if any postings occurred after that point because our FloQast recs would catch it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be burdensome to add multiple accounts at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast limits the amount of communciations needed between my team and I because it is constantly updating as the system does. FloQast provides additional comfort as we try to close down the books because there is a clear status and any balances that change are quickly identifiable.
FloQast is a must have!!

Clean Look
What do you like best about the product?
The clean look of the FloQast user interface offers an organized experience and the ability to input control information (tests, issues, owners, etc.) enables an efficient use of the system. The ability to assign control owners specific requests and track them accordingly enhances project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ensure that all control details, risks, evidence, test results, and issues can be easily seen and linked to one control in one simple view would be very helpful. Ensure there is sufficient RCM or testing status reporting.

Organization of SOX testing.

Using tasks and deadlines makes is easier to manage month end close and track progress

File syncing with OneDrive and locking of files

Speeds up the close process. Provides visibility over progress and tasks to complete.
Better than Blackline in many ways
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with sharepoint is helpful when it comes to the support upload

Bank recs should be re-designed. A bank statement should be recognized by OCR and compared to the GL ending balance automatically

it was an migration from blackline and we liked the AI features when it comes to balance refereces
FloQast is Great!
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast creates efficiency by helping organize and prioritize tasks. Additionally, it helps to provide great insight into where bottle necks are during the month end close process and emphasizes issues or changes with any reconciliations. The integration was also seamless!
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be lower levels of customization, but perhaps I am still learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps create efficiency during month end close helping to speed up the process and provide insights into where there are issues. Additionally, it helps to create an audit trail which could be lost during the chaos of close.
Excellent tool with a lot of potential

What do you dislike about the product?
- limitation on uploading reconciliation files. There's no bulk upload to all subfolders (or even upload 1 master excel file with all the reconciliations to 1 place). We have to manually upload the master excel file to each folder
- API connection (variance analysis). We had to set up two different API connections, one with YTD numbers (balance sheet) and one with monthly movements (P&L). ERP system is D365 F&O
- limitation on reviews. It does reconciliation checks but doesn't highlight unusual positions (e.g. negative receivables balances on customer level).

It is clear to navigate and user friendly.

When filtering for objects, I wish it didnt reset immediately when I clicked a new filter.

I find it at times difficult to locate support to reconciliations.

System is often slow in updating as going through checklists

keeps all the data in one place - easy to see what has been complete

there is no option for N/A so checklists are always having to be updated to specific companies make the process inefficent. The website is slow as you scroll and check off on the checklists so it take a lot longer to those tasks then it should
