Very useful for setting up close processes

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to share a common list with multiple people on a team, helps keep everyone on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we have utilized this system a little too much in depth. We have every possible thing listed and have a reviewer on all items which sometimes can seem like overkill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More efficient close process and achieving close deadlines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to use the checklist review notes section to always track your communication. This will help if someone ever leaves the company you will always have the historical information.

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast helps create a tool to ensure accountability during the close process. This also allows the month-end close process to be streamlined in a more efficent manner. The Flux analysis tool is a game changer when comes to reviewing the monthly P&L.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike with Floqast. Floqast has always been a help and never the opposite. I cannot really say one bad thing about Floqast. I would recommend Floqast to every colleague.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems i am solving are keeping reconciliation in balance. The benefits received are that in real time the accounts get updated. I can update the recs to ensure a timely close deadline.

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast helps us catch mistakes when it comes to reconciling accounts. The fact that it sync with Intacct and dropbox has saved our team so much time. We were not reconciling all accounts before Floqast due to the manual work involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have many complaints with Floqast at this time. I do hate that the extra features cost additional money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reconciling all accounts and notice when account balances changes. We are closing faster and more accurately. Great product!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the customer service team at FQ. My contact there is Troy, and he is just the best! FQ is also a great tool for the whole team, and its effective and easy to use.

Great product all in all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of a dislike for this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines the review process for close, and its a great way for reviewers to add comments and easy for the preparer to locate the problem and subsequently close out the problem.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is straight forward and easy to navigate through. We are a large finance department with multiple teams. Using FQ is a great way to show quick metrics on how we are doing with close. And then if more detail is needed, it's easy to drill into the details and checklists. I also like how the reconciliation section pulls in the balance per the workbork and per the TB, so it's easy to tell if there is a variance. I also like how we can specify who the review note comment is applicable to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a delay in timing for when I am notified when something is ready for review. I'd also like to be able to run reports out of FQ to analyze how quickly the teams are getting items done in relation to the due dates, and also the late items. If items are late, I'd like to know why if the deadlines are reasonable. I'd also like visibility into how often due dates are changing, and if there is a report available for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us maintain accountability with our work and deadlines. It also helps teams maintain transparency with their status on close.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Subgroups under the item would be helpful for when there are multiple items / checks in one item.

Great way to organize a team around the close process

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see the status of each of the steps and each of the task owners.
I like that they continue to add new features and roll them out to us; the tool continues to improve.

We have begun to use the Analytics section to help set goals and track our progress toward improving the speed of the close process.

Implementation was a massive differentiator for us. Simple setup, and it does not require much admin support at all. I like that is not a burden at all to use, modify, and maintain.

Customer service has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really can't think of much. I do wish it were a bit less expensive per person. We want to add everyone and we have a large accounting org. I must mention that it is still has a lower cost than other solutions we evaluated.

They continue to role out improved functionality but they break up the platform so each of these great things costs a little bit more. Typical for SAAS but would continued cost increases are not always easy to swallow.

Before we switched to Netsuite ERP, it was a pain to continue to upload refreshed TBs to get the latest information for our Reconciliation tie-outs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More disciplined close process.
Improves completeness and controls on the Close and Reporting process.
Better sense of ownership.
Increased visibility.

If you want a light, easy to use tool help manage the close. this is a great option.

Accountability and ownership through organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Floqast is very user friendly and transparent to all users. It's a cost effective solution that allows all users and members of the team to understand our closing process progress in real time. It holds the team accountable; we can see what tasks are late and how often they are late through their analytics tool. It also alerts us to when accounts that were previously reconciled go out of balance so we know when to go in and update those reconciliations automatically. It also has a complete audit trail on all activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides - just needs continuous improvements! Each new feature they roll out is very useful and gets used immediately. They are working to make changes to the assignment of tasks easier, which I am looking forward to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central checklist that is tied to my general ledger so I can see the tasks coupled with the account reconciliations is a huge benefit. We have had a lot of turnover and this ensures anyone can pick up the closing process and feel they are getting a complete picture of how to execute.

What do you like best about the product?
The checklist and recon functions. We use it every month to monitor the ME close process and it's very visual and user friendly. I can leave comments in the comment boxes and @ a user, this helps tremendously with the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
How to filter for user. It's not very visual. If we can have it pre-set for user and show the tasks of the day in a summary level, that will be more helpful. I believe the email reminder does the work, but it will be great to see up front in the program as well.
Also, cannot attach large documents in recon, please advise the best solution as sometimes large docs are needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
