Great Month-end Close Product

What do you like best about the product?
FloQast organizes our month-end close in a logical and user friendly way that allows us to streamline and improve each month
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have any complaints at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast is helping our team identify where the bottlenecks are in the close and what tasks need to be reallocated in order to reduce the time to close each month
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've used other close management tools and FloQast is the easiest to use by far. I'd recommend this product to any accounting team.

Effective reconciliation tool

What do you like best about the product?
The numbers are updated in the FloQast as per the latest trial balance. In case any changes are made in the books and FloQast is out, we receive a notification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if we upload the wrong file, then it isn't easy to delete that file and upload the updated one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The backup of all the numbers appearing in the balance sheet is readily available. Audit becomes more accessible, and track of all changes in the accounts is available
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product is doubly excellent and very useful for those working in the accounting fields.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a location where you can track and store your month-end close progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not perfect...not yet. There are some things that could be added or enhanced. The great thing is that the ideas and feedback are already in the process of being integrated into the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability of assigned items. Organized storage of supporting documents and more.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Reconciliation and Checklist functions the best, which is essentially the entire platform, so overall, this system works great and is incredibly helpful for our month-end processes. Their support team is excellent in responding to questions and concerns, and for once, a company actually has a useful "FAQ" section.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I would seriously recommend this to any accounting team. Maybe the only thing that bugs me is the speediness of the Refresh button, but that's very minor in the grand scheme of things. Plus, they have been very responsive in any suggestions or critiques we have of small feature improvements, and many of them have already been fixed in the few months our team has been using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've really cleaned up our books, quickened our close, and kept cleaner records now that we have an easy way to roll documents along from month to month. We used to use a shared Excel checklist to keep our organization streamlined during the month-end close process, and now we have this great and handy tool to check off in a much easier way. It used to take our boss an hour or more to get all of our end-balances in a list to start the Reconciliation process, and that's an hour of her time back that she now has due to the roll-forward features of FloQast.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AutoRec feature and how easily the application links your own papers to account balances
What do you dislike about the product?
The update from our ERP system to the application refreshes every 30 min, so if I make a journal entry in our system, I would have to wait a little while before seeing it on FloQast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us establish a month-end close process and being able to keep track of account balances/activity each month.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things to love about the software. What I appreciated the most was ease of setup and use. Makes it very easy to create buy-in with your teams to use the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
They should continue to improve their fluctuation analysis module. It is good, but basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to successfully leverage FloQast to speed up our close process, document our controls, and bring greater insight of the financial reporting process to the organization as a whole.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use it is. It is very simple AND helps streamline work. I love how I can easily keep tack of my open items. It really helps me stay on track with my daily priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way rollforward reconciliations easily even if someone has already put on in the folder
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FloQast has helped recons be completed more timely and signing off on tasks is much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The ease of use is a big one for me. Additionally, the support for FloQast is awesome. The FAQs gets almost every answer we need, and if we have any more questions - Edson and Shoshana are amazing. I cant speak highly enough of the great experience.

Simple But Powerful Month-End Close Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I like the onboarding process and how easy it was to implement and get started. The continued support from the team has been great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customizations are currently limited. (i.e. we can use our logo in place of the floqast logo on the platform)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to monitor better how long things are taking on the close and better tell where the entire stands during our close.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product built by accountants or like-minded folks that gets the job done. If you're looking for a month-end close tool, I highly recommend you consider them.

FQ give you that peace of mind!

What do you like best about the product?
The email notifications you receive if a rec has changed after you've signed off on it. How it shows you the difference between your excel rec and the GL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Refreshing reconciliations can take some time and not work every time. Prepaid auto rec should have 'Class' column and the JE tab should be like Intacct's JE import so there would be no manually editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routine reconciliations are easier and require less maintenance due do FQ comparing our excel recs vs our GL. I think its saved us some time and reduced our closing by almost a full day!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can take a couple months to implement and get rolling but once you have everything setup it makes closing easier and holds people accountable for sign offs and fixing review notes.
