Month End with FloQast
What do you like best about the product?
1. FloQast's ability to accommodate several entities
2. Flux analysis which pulls in balances from our accounting software to perform variance analysis. All balances are updated in real-time should the balance change.
3. An organized checklist of month-end tasks that can be customized in the following ways: deadlines, preparer, and reviewer.
4. The reconciliations tab which ensures all reconciliations tie out to the GL balances

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The inability to see reconciling items in FQ when reviewing reconciliations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we use FQ to solve is an organized way to divide and conquer tasks that go into closing out books.
The number one benefit of using FQ is transparency around what tasks have been completed by the team (especially useful if your task relies on someone elses).

Great visibility and close management
What do you like best about the product?
FloQast allows us to manage the close and provide visibility to everyone on the team about what items are finished and what still needs attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are hopeful that FloQast will add a few additional features in the future, including greater visibility into reconciling items and ranked reviewer workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A once entirely manual process with no visibility is now automated and provides visibility to everyone on the team. We no longer have to worry about figuring out where the close stands or what might be outstanding. This resource allows our team to work and communicate smarter.
FloQast is easy to implement and excellent value for price.

I like how easy FloQast was to implement and pick up on new features.

Nothing - looking forward to the Teams integration.

Keeping track of month-end close process and ensuring that all accounts are properly reconciled.

This tool is one of the best out there and is continuously getting better!
Best Recon Tool Ever
What do you like best about the product?
Preparing recons in FQ is the easiest way, because we can prepare the recon and support on Excel and them upload and refresh the information on FQ.
And Also, I have worked with other tools in the past (Blackline) and it had not the possibility of working on Excel to prepare the reconciliations it is the differential we have in FQ comparing to other applications

What do you dislike about the product?
I have no big complains about the tool, it has been helpful in my daily routine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides being a user friendly tool to work with reconciliations, the checklist on FQ helps me to not forgot any task in a monthly and quarterly basis.
Account Rec and Close Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
All account reconciliations stored in one easy-to-manage platform. Review and approval capability with notes/tasks communication functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Executive approvers have the same license as users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workload management is more visible so that one employee doesn't shoulder all of the burden.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to participate in the FloVerse community when you get this product; accounting folks need the support of other users to enhance their viability.
I have been using FQ for the past 2 months, and I can't be happier with my experience.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very intuitive and user-friendly. I find it so easy to navigate between all of the month-end close items. FQ keeps everything organized, and I never run into any glitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to refresh the items as I go - I would prefer that items refresh and show in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of keeping our teams in sync at all times with the month-end close process. I've realized the benefit of increased communication between my team members.

Live chat support, rather than email support.
Excellent Close Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI, ease of use, and visibility the tool provides into our close process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing significant or noteworthy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shortening the close, better visibility into the close, and better tracking for completion of recons.
Excellent for organization, communication, and timely completion of tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast is the best application for organizing month-end procedures. The interface allows the user to keep track of all necessary tasks needed to have a successful close. The Slack integration is especially helpful for staying up-to-date with any changes that might affect month-end close as it alerts the user any time there are changes made to the GL that differ from reconciliations. The Excel feature always works seamlessly to pull data and match it to our records. We have never experienced any issues when it comes to pulling data from NetSuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly, nothing really. Floqast is user-friendly, intuitive, and rarely has hiccups or bugs that affect it's usability. If there are issues, customer support is always ready to take care of any issues. In my experience, they have always offered swift, comprehensive solutions to any issues we've encountered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Floqast helps me discover any mid-close changes that occur in specific general ledger accounts. As soon as entries hit the general ledger accounts I work with, Floqast does me a solid by alerting me via Slack that the balances in my reconciliations no longer match the balances in the books. This tool allows my team and I to work harmoniously together to close the books in a timely and efficient manner. The biggest benefit to using FloQast has been the checklist feature. As time goes on, our processes become more sophisticated. This checklist allows me to add and remove items as necessary while also giving me the ability to attach them to a specific time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth the investment. Floqast offers a multitude of options that can help keep your team stay on track when it comes to time-bound goals such a month-end close. One feauture I strongly recommend is assigning a deadline to each month-end task. Tying these tasks to deadlines helps communicate clear expectations for the team and prevents confusion and miscommunication. Make sure when you use FloQast you take advantage of its many attributes including Slack, NetSuite, and Excel integrations.
Improve & Streamline the Close Process
What do you like best about the product?
Floqast gives you the ability to have everything related to the close process all in one location, including all communication with the people involved. You no longer need to search for a spreadsheet or an email that contains info on the close. I am sure there are ways we can utiilize Floqast even more than we currently do so I look forward to shaving even more time off our close process going forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not discovered anything significant I dislike yet. There have been a few times where it had some glitches, but they are rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the time to process the month-end close. Having deadlines set really keeps my staff on track. Also we are no longer forgetting certain tasks as everything is listed within Floqast to remind us what needs to be done each month.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try and incorporate as much as of the close process as you can into Floqast. Even things that you think are not part of the close but in fact lead up to the close throughout the month. For example you could have weekly bank recs in Floqast to make sure that by the end of the month your bank rec is practically done and quick to complete since you only have one week to reconcile at that point.
We recently implemented FloQast to streamline our month-end tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
That is syncs with the accounting system and you can easily tell if any numbers changed or something is out of balance. Also, the ease of use to change on the go, create new tasks or delete tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use this to track other projects as well. While we are using the system for above its intended use, i would like the option of easily moving a task from one month to another month. or not have everything segregated by months only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing better services to clients with its completeness feature - we can easily check to make sure there are no new accounts on the TB that we are not reconciling on a monthly basis. It has made out close more efficient.

The sooner you start the sooner you become more efficient and streamline your month-end closing for faster reporting.
