What do you like best about the product?
Easy management of devices assigned to my peers. Per my role as a support engineer - the ability to find information on the fly on devices is ez pz compared to others I have used, such as WS1.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much room for disliking. Perhaps just improvements in categorization and UI can use a polish to be a bit more up-to-date alongside new macOS upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf is helping us keep track of inventory. Helping us manage applications. Helping our users get up and running smoothly in the event of device swaps. Helping us manage our policies and safeguarding company-wide information.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and setup. We manage several thousand iOS/iPadOS and macOS devices in the enterprise, and Jamf Pro always delivers for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to really dislike - the tool is fantastic and the support from the Jamf team has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of setup for both dedicated and shared devices for users in our enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
It's fast, it always has same day support for new versions. It interoperates with Azure AD/MFA very well. Simple automation built into the product, along with a thriving community on github to extend it further.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the speed/scalability of the cloud hosted versions were a bit more fleshed out. When we scale up, we have to reach out to get our instance upsized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero touch deployment for Mac and iOS. Complete automation of the app deployment and platform security from an IT perspective.

easy to managed than my budget. help my whole team to install applications w/o going to apps store.

There is no downside. Only Upside. Adding a printer sometimes does not work. it's a hit and miss.

What do you like best about the product?
we are using jamfcloud, and so far the downtime is zero. we always get the latest version without causing any unnecessary downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps , jamf pro not support Windows platform :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Should there be any product known issues, jamf support will suggest an alternative way or temporary solution to me.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has a user friendly interface that is easy to navigate and figure out as a new administrator. I appreciate the simple layout and built in templates that Jamf Pro includes to make configurations easier to create and maintain. I also appreciate the in depth administrator guide they created. It is a great reference manual to learn how to use Jamf and provides an easy way to look up topics as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Jamf Pro would include a way to automatically name devices from within Jamf. Currently, this is a very manual process due to the limitations of options within Jamf in this regard. Would love to see more options for naming both IOS and OS devices. I also wish that the Select All and Deselect ALL buttons in the pre-stage scoping area were either removed or able to be used when filtering the list of devices without it still selecting or unselecting ALL devices. Many users think it will only select the items that have been filtered in the list and is visible, but it actually still selects the entire list, disregarding the filter. This causes confusion and mistakes often by new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro helps us distribute apps to devices over the air as well as being able to set settings to better ensure our devices are secure. We have many remote workers and being able to handle most task over the air is extremely helpful to manage devices that are never physically on campus. We are working toward zero touch deployments and look forward to using Jamf Pro to set this up.

Fantastic Product for management of all Apple Products

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro allows for easy access to all the information needed to keep our work macs up to date with quick groups to know what building users are in and if we have to make any changes to the apps allowed on the computers. I love how easy it is so add new applications and policies and the ease at deploying them. I enjoy being able to test out policies to specific users before deploying to all users. I can easily assign specific access to other members of the team without having to worry about them changing something they shouldn't by accident. Being able to create new policies in a test enviroment prior to releasing it on production is a huge help!
What do you dislike about the product?
My gripe with Jamf Pro at the moment is that when you erase a mac and re-image it, it deletes all purchasing info in relation to the mac. I would like the mac to still retain all the data that's been placed in those fields. I'm also having issues where AppleCare information such as purchase date and warrant information doesn't get imported from GSX after integrating it with Jamf Pro. When wiping a Mac using the command in Jamf Pro, the operating system as times does not begin the install and the Mac ends up flashing with the question mark. When troubleshooting remotely, this causes issues as users freak out that their computer has failed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro is helping with push out new security measures and productivity measures across both Macs and iPhones. We recently deployed Self Service for mobile devices to allow users to install important applications without having to login using their personal Apple ID or create a new one with work email. Ontop of this we have several policies in place to make sure users have the latest version of web browsers to combat zero day exploits. I love that I can easily view from my Dashboard all the devices that have the latest policies and those that are a bit behind since it helps me circle back to those users to make they are set rather than having to check in with everyone.

What do you like best about the product?
In our organization, we use Jamf Cloud and I love that it's accessible no matter where I am. I'm not tied to my company network to be able to access the tools and resources I need. I like the ease of use and quick responses when sending commands to devices or trying to install software. It helps my company bring the Apple devices that we use under one management system and allows us to provide the software and workflows for all of our Apple users. I love that we can provide a portal of software to choose from using the Self Service portal and people can choose what software they need when they need it. I feel that our organization is better off being able to provide standard setups and software and Jamf is able to help us do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that with the licensing costs and setup, Jamf may be cost prohibitive for some smaller companies. I am under the impression that Jamf is more effective when managing larger numbers of devices and some companies may not be able to use it because of cost considerations. I personally haven't used other competitors, so I can't speak to the comparisons between Jamf Pro and other MDM's, but Jamf might not be a good fit for everyone depending on the organization.

Specifically with Jamf Pro features, it lacks the ability to schedule actions as far as I can tell. There are ways to schedule policy updates and installation settings, but I'd like the ability to select a certain task such as upgrading iPadOS and have the ability to schedule when the action takes place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization had hundreds of Apple devices that had no management backend at all. Users were free to set up and use their devices at will and there was no management whatsoever. The biggest issue we had was with setups and rollouts of devices and also with large numbers of devices that would need to be set up. Last year, I was in charge of setting up about 100 iPads to run a specific app. Luckily, I was able to utilize Jamf Pro to configure the iPads and push the configuration profile to each one without having to manually set them up one by one. Jamf Pro saved me hours of time.
