Jamf Pro is the best MDM solution for comprehensive Apple device management.
What do you like best about the product?
Self Service and Patch Management are the features we use and like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Test buttons are missing for some critical configurations such as SCEP. It would be helpful to be able to generate dummy certificates before deploying configurations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro has solved our complete Mac management problem. We use Jamf Pro so that our Mac users, who started working remotely during the pandemic period, can progress with an unified structure, easily make VPN and access internal resources etc.

Fairly New, Yet Completely Immersed.
What do you like best about the product?
The classes I've taken over JAMF to help run the environment were beneficial. My class was particularly interested in attributes. This made learning reporting from the console an excellent experience. Still, a lot to learn; however, I can see I'm only getting to the first peak of this mountain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not found anything yet, we were given this environment by someone else, so it was already (somewhat) built out. Documenting this with the help of peers makes it easy to realize just what it takes to run an application like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our organization, we have to have an MDM agent, a security stack, and a modernized way of reporting PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance back to our senior leadership. JAMF makes this possible.
Best mdm out there!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it makes my job. It allows me to sit back and automate almost everything
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes slow to support day one items in new os's. Needs a better is update tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of computer setup
Great software that helps in every way
What do you like best about the product?
I like that when using Jamf pro we have the ability to see all of our assets in an easy to use and easy to see manner. Jamf is like Apple, you're paying for a premium when purchasing Jamf Pro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the macos update notification doesn't go away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro is helping inventory and workflows such as imaging and sending out packages, patches, and new software when needed.
If you're not using Jamf Pro, why?
What do you like best about the product?
Besides the product itself, customer support at Jamf is the best I have ever experienced!
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf is excellent in releasing new features, I just need to keep up with them all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deployment of Macs and iOS devices to remote workers!
The gold standard for managing Apple devices.
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is a force-multiplier - it enables you to deploy and enforce settings and software automatically and regardless of geography or time. Manual, error-prone, step-by-step processes become one-to-many operations based on the facts of the device: imagine a GPO but granular based on the device's or user's condition at that time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dated, inconsistent admin GUI that often requires many more clicks or operations to update or save changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro lets me centrally manage and maintain over a thousand Macs spread across multiple states and timezones, and is helping my team reduce the amount of time and effort required to build and prepare those devices.
JAMFPRO

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing but yes sometimes certificate integration issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration witj Zscaler as a MDM solution
Jamf should be your starting point and benchmark for Apple MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Choosing what I like best about Jamf is a tricky thing. I will narrow it down to three items. First, and universally important, is zero-day support. With Jamf, I never have to worry about whether or not I can support a new feature from Apple. We're always covered from the jump, which means we don't have to worry about playing catch-up. Second, Smart Groups are nearly worth the cost of the entire Jamf License. They allow for automated deployments without having to worry about supervising your management policies. Essentially, if you do the prep work, you can ensure your devices receive patching when they need them and remain compliant when a user has different ideas. Finally, for the more technical, Extension Attributes are unique and my favorite and most recommended Jamf feature. They are the missing link I didn't know I needed until I finally understood them. They allow for tagging devices using any kind of data you can image, making them the perfect fit for any environment. When paired with Smart Groups the result is borderline witchcraft.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Jamf. Their product is the gold standard in Apple Mobile Device Management. Their downfall presents itself as a result of what they do so well. As a cloud subscriber now, we have limited access to our database and distribution point. This requires intervention from support when things aren't working correctly; however, this is so rare it hardly creates a real problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple devices are developed with a consumer-first perspective, making it challenging for MacAdmins to maintain patching, policy, and security standards on their endpoints. Jamf fits hand-in-hand with Apple to ensure a seamless level of management. Having worked with other MDM providers, including product development for one of Jamf's competitors, I can say without a doubt Jamf is the best at what they do. No one else is close, and the quality of their products provides incredible value. Other MDMs can be similar, but the cost of choosing the wrong solution, those that aren't as affective or are not as feature-rich, and then migrating to Jamf later could result in complications Jamf can help you avoid from the beginning
Best MDM only for mac and IOS
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage mac and IOS device. Best in JAMF is you required minimum server to configure on-prem. But in other MDM, for each and every service need server.
What do you dislike about the product?
If remote support to endpoints available on 8443/443 port
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patching MAC OS and many more
Jamf is a beast
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is an extremely helpful tool allowing me to properly manage our fleet of machines. It has a ton of capabilities and can do SO MUCH. It is a fun tool to learn and grow with. Nice that Apple and Jamf can play so nicely together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being that Jamf is so powerful things can get confusing, if you aren't a scripter you can still get stuff done but you will be relying on others knowledge in that area. I would hope that in the future there might be some solutions to that. But all in all I love Jamf and super happy to be a customer. The customer success team is amazing and answers all of my silly questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro helps me and my team ensure that our devices are being taken care of the way we need them to be. We can lock down what applications users are allowed to install, provide them ease of access with single sign on integrations, which users tend to love.
Allows us to really personalize our machines, with our logos, a notification letting the user know that the machine is managed by our company.
