Jamf Pro Review
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the platform and can manage most things without any issues. However, their support is top-notch when I do not know how to do something. I've tried a few free/low-cost solutions, and they were difficult to use and had poor support. Sometimes you need to speak to a knowledgeable human.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific to Jamf, but I always get nervous when renewing a certificate or updating Apple tokens. Only doing it once a year can be stressful. However, support will step me right through it. I believe all MDMs require this. It is expensive, but we are considering switching to Jamf School at a much better price. I do manage some MacOS with JAmf. I have more trouble with that than I do managing iOS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can fix most issues remotely. With all students having a device and having less help, this is a must.

As our Apple device count grew, our company struggled with the manual deployment and management of our devices, JAMF completely streamlined that process and gave us control.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a very large initial learning curve to get the macOS deployment up and running. Once you have your comfort level to a good place, the tool is very easy to maintain.

Remote deployment of macOS and iOS devices. Application management and control. Remote support to push fixes to employees' machines. Update and patching along with reporting.
Jamf - The Best Apple Device Management Utility
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the ease of Apple device management and the thoroughness/granularity of that management. There's not much that you CAN'T do from security to deployment, Jamf provides it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the biggest annoyances of Jamf is its "clickiness" for lack of better words. The amount of clicks required to perform a task or move a device from one prestage to another can get tedious at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf allows us to manage device and app deployment for thousands of Apple devices across campus. With the addition of Jamf Connect, we can deploy and customize a brand new device, right out of the box, without ever even having to lay hands on it.

Best all around Apple Mobile Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
Overall the capabilities and options within Jamf Pro allow for custom and complex workflows to help manage and maintain endpoints. The usability and functionality are top-notch, allowing you to scale processes as your environment grows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often, when Apple adds new features, they are not the quickest to implement solutions to support these features, but most of the time, their solutions are complete and work well when implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device management is mostly automated in our environment with the benefit of Jamf Pro, we have auto-update policies and onboarding application deployment configured along with various Self Service install options.
