True Gamechanger macOS Management Experience!!

Ease of use and mobile device management
Simple mobile device management tool (we use Apple)
What do you like best about the product?
Simple UI and easy to install. Controls are just enough to manage devices at a certain level, but not too much to overwhelm users and make them feel unsafe
What do you dislike about the product?
No notifications for things like recovery key escrow, I'd like to get an email or something before we need to use a thing we can't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping manage devices; mostly for password recovery and device lockdown in case it's lost or stolen
Jamf is a must have for our business!
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has amazing customer service. At first I was very intimitated about using it but their customer support put me at ease. They helped me set it up to integrate with our iPads located across the nation. It is easy to use and seting up additional iPads for our sites was a breeze.
We use it every day to keep track of how our sites are using our iPads. I really like the fact that I can see when someone logs into a device. I love using the blueprints as well. They are easy to set up and then use again and again depending on the device needed for each location,
They also have very nice step by step video tutorials to help you through the setup process. I also like attending their online trainings because I learn so much when I do.
I highly recommend them.

It looks intimidating at first glance but all you need to do is call their customer support and/or follow their step by step video tutorials.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we first started using them, I'm not sure they had the video tutorials, but that was a while ago. They have really stepped up their ease of use by adding the video tutorials for those of us that need a quick refresher when we go to set up a new device.

The website has gotten slow after it was updated a couple of weeks ago. Also, we have to update the VPP token more often than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing updates, software installation, inventory management.
Jamf Pro in Higher Education
What do you like best about the product?
Through my job duities I spent a considerable amount of time evaluating Apple MDM solutions. There are many products that can do the job, but none quite as well as JAMF Pro. The interface is extremenly easy to use. The setup and implementation was a breeze. It integrated very well with our instance of Micorsoft Azure for SSO. As the primary Apple support technician, I frequently used JAMF Pro, if not on a daily basis. The defining point though about JAMF Pro is the incredible customer support and the support of the JAMF Nation user community. A+ 10/10 Would reccomend.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one significant downside of JAMF Pro is the cost. There are many other products that are significantly cheaper or are bundled into existing licensing agreements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro made it easy for me as the sole Apple support technician to manage over 1,000 devices with little to no stress.
I have helped implement and manage our environment for about 4 yrs now.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to just get a view into my MacOS fleet and keep track of the security and inventory we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The piece I dislike is how you have to manage applications with a pkg that we have to manage. That is such a convoluted system for a small team such as ours. It would be much easier if you would just have a way to tell the applications to reach out to grab the update from their update location. We dont manage our software in jamf because of this, outside of mac OS udpates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the ease of managing our fleet and having greater insight into each device and reporting on status, health, etc.. Also knowing that Jamf protect and jamf radar are protecting our devices.
Love Jamf! Makes our day to work so much smoother

A little complicated to settle into, but great once you fully get adjusted.
