What do you like best about the product?
Community and pro level support. I know that jamf is there whenever I need them. Their community orientated support website is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow development cycle . I appreciate their careful approach, however at times I wonder if they are asleep at the wheel. :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our users help themselves
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, functionality - streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot import .CSV files of serial numbers for mobile device management. Much of this is done manually; one by one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New to Jamf Pro. Solving problems as they arise and learning, which is the best part.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Pro will continue to grow and be in demand for the market. Many companies should look in to what Jamf can offer to help them succeed further.

What do you like best about the product?
Management of Mac is relatively easy and packaging and deploying apps is a snap. There is now third party updates integrated into Jamf for a bunch of major softwares that tend to have multiple updates a month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing all the fun with coworkers. Fixing other people’s mistakes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding app vulnerabilities and patching them. Encrypting disks. Removing blacklisted software as soon as it is installed. Lastly keeping track of licensing with smart groups and apple vpp program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are other products out there, but they have to be manually configured and kept up to date. With Jamf there is feature updates aligned with Apples OS updates and the support team is phenomenal.

What do you like best about the product?
I like seeing my inventory in one place. Then being able to build smart groups to take action against is key.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scrolling to the bottom of a long list is absolute murder. When I have to scroll down past 1500 lines I go crazy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updates and patches. Are second only to automated deployments to reduce help desk install requests.

What do you like best about the product?
So far I am super impressed with my limited use of JAMF PRO.
The integrations available to use in various services such as Service Now is fantastic to hear.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any issues that I can report currently. I like the console and I'm excited to use it on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently integrating Mac devices into our Windows AD environment. This has been a really helpful tool to help push software as if it were SCCM.

Jamf needed for Apple device management

  • October 24, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf allowed us to start managing our Apple devices versus not managing at all. It allows us to prepare devices quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I haven’t liked had nothing to do with Jamf. Dealing with our Information Security team to allow SSO integration took forever. Nothing to do with Jamf just our team being paranoid of allowing cloud integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of all Apple devices

Seeing Jamf pro 10 for the first time this morning, I really like the interface! Looks like some other tools I know ... Azure, OMS, Office 365

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ConfigMan can not mange Mac device with the same abilities that it can Windows devices. This is a problem when your endpoints are 25% Mac.
