What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can learn the process very easily and get the information very quickly. I also like the layout because of its easy maneuverability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is none that I can complain about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with our Public Heatlth Department to implement data maps for items relevant to the health department such as the opioid crisis, emergency management, and community development. I have not seen any results or benefits because I am beginning to understand the ArcGIS Online platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn the basics first before diving deeper into the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access and the volume of data available
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data sets lack good metadata. A data set without good documentation is often of litttle use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have put some of our own data online which has helped our users more easily access it.

Fast and easy web mapping

What do you like best about the product?
I like the effort that ESRI has put into making mapping online faster, and easier to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a steep learning curve, and a lot of knowledge required to get the most out of ArcGIS online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We using arcgis online to share data with our clients. Some of our clients have a really good understanding of web mapping, and some do not. ArcGIS online helps our clients by making it easier for them to find and use data.

What do you like best about the product?
ArcGIS Online provides excellent tools for analysis and situational awareness and allows even non-GIS users to gain an increased understanding of even the most complex datasets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing models don't support every industry or agency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Emergency preparedness and response, situational awareness.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to maps/layer available to other users outside of my organization that can and has been used to research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less control of the look of the maps. My organization has some standard logo and other information we list on products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veteran demographics, socioeconomics and other data analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed at how story maps can present information in a very appealing way. It is perfect for presenting information to the general public and executives.
What do you dislike about the product?
not sure - I have a GIS analyst that does all my GIS. I am an executive sponsor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
presenting public health information. Disease surveillance and prevention efforts

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to share information. Easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The list of legend items are separate from the list of clickable layers.

I refrain from using because of challenges with this software to accomoate publishing in 2 official languages (federal government in Canada).

I like the ability to build applications with the commerical of the self products that require very little coding.

The limited labeling and the attirbutes that are assocaited with it

AGO municipal web maps

What do you like best about the product?
The most important part of web maps for a municipality is the ease of use for residents/constituents. AGO has an easy to use GUI that most people can quickly understand and use effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that creating custom web maps is often hard. ESRI seems to be somewhat confining on options for app creation/selection and user interface without some proficiency in coding or developing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AGO gives our city a platform to get out map information to the public. The ease of accessibility has allowed some residents the ability to answer questions from the comfort of their home or at their convenience.

Pretty good experience

What do you like best about the product?
Community Analyst (which is a part of ArcGIS Online) is probably the best ESRI application I've experinced, both from a user interface perspective and from the actual content provided by the product.
We've used ArcGIS online for about 5 community outreach maps and have really enjoyed that aspect of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of credits creates difficulties in procurement and focuses the user on saving credits, not using the product. A signifcant obstacle to full utilzation/implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data publication. Community input. Community data reports (CA).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A very solid product suite. If we can navigate the credit environment, I think we'd be able to do a lot more.
