value of Kong API Gateway
What do you like best about the product?
it supports the full lifecycle management of APIs via other products like API Analytics, API Portal, Kong Mesh
What do you dislike about the product?
it's open source software.it's more knowledge to operates and handle it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
when I am doing some microservices I am not getting the proper API integration and management process

What do you dislike about the product?
Because of its complexity, Kong may have a steeper learning curve for developers who are not already familiar with its architecture and plugin system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kong's plugin architecture provides a flexible way for developers to extend and customize its functionality, allowing them to add features like logging, monitoring, and transformation to their APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked kong for high-availability clusters and includes an extensive range of plugins to address cross-cutting concerns, including authentication, security, rate limiting, throttling, transformations, analytics and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kong Console User Interface is not that much great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized management of APIs specifcially when it goes via egress

What do you like best about the product?
Kong API gateway has a simple manager GUI that facilitates the configuration; it is easy to get started fast using this GUI. Also, plugin support and modularity are big advantages of Kong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation would be better if it contained detailed steps for configuring Postgres.
Also, datastore support is limited to Postgres; it will be better to support other DB like MySQL.

Our API management and deployment has been more efficient with Kong, especially when managing and load balancing the number of requests that come in.

Nothing as of yet, but as we expand our capacity, we may need to see the availability of additional features
