Solid Reliable B2B Application
What do you like best about the product?
B2Bi is a very solid and reliable B2B application and has been for many years. The organization and layout of the application features makes the UI very intuitive. The Tracker feature allows easy and complete visibility of transactions. Partner setup and maintenance features are well designed. Certificate management is the best I've seen in an Enterprise level B2B/Ecommerce application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of communications (Gateway Interchange) and translation (Integrator) makes the application a little heavy if only communications is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this product throughout it's life cycle. from the Cyclone acquisition through the many product version roll-outs, Gateway Interchange to Interchange to B2Bi. This tool has been a valuable solution for our company's B2B growth and transformation.

Stable and feature rich product
What do you like best about the product?
Different possibilities for implementing a EDI-flow, lots of protocols supported .
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the feature richness, a rather steep learning curve.

File transfer with external partners.
Very satisfied with Axway B2Bi and Axway API Gateway as our integration platform
What do you like best about the product?
B2Bi, together with API Gateway, is the fundament of our Axway integration platform. The possibilities of integrating between man and machine are endless. We are able to respond quickly and smoothly to the requirements and wishes of our customer. And, of course very important, also being able to implement things quickly. And so, we are very satisfied with Axway B2Bi and API Gateway, as well as our customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning B2Bi requires some more effort than you would expect to fully understand the product. The possibilities are then endless. In addition to a training that is really indispensable, it is nice to be able to make use of Axway consultants' expertise on location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where we had to develop a lot in the past, we can now easily use the extensive options that Axway offers.

Wide range of connectivity, partner management and ease of administration. Frequest vulnerability fixes delivered
What do you dislike about the product?
Migration from older version of Synchrony Integrator to B2Bi is not straight forward.
Product upgrades are cummulative, I prefer target specific patches which makes us easy to test and GOLIVE

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal Interface connectivity, External Client ERP connectivity. Trasnformation of messages with Mapping services and eaze of intergration with those maps back to B2B is an added advantage.
My positive experience of B2Bi (EDI) at the Coop
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibililty of the software to talk to multiple vendors using various file formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of transparency of Idocs vis SAP. Anything using the Integration pickups is not tracked in message tracker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the Coop to link up external systems (out of our control) and internal systems, (of varying technology types)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend, but make sure you do e2e testing with heavy loads and multiple endpoints

Axway B2Bi is one of the strongest platforms of the B2B market.
What do you like best about the product?
It perfectly suits our Business to Business integration and interoperability needs by providing industry standards implementations of secured and reliable secured transports (EDIINT AS1, AS2, AS3, etc...) over the Internet.
By also providing a wide range of well known internet-based B2B messaging protocols(ftp, sftp, etc...) and some more exotic ones, most of the needs can be easily covered.
The product prebuilt mappings functionalities are simplifying onboarding processes, you move from days to hours by using the included design tool(Mapping services).
Its scalability capabilities are also a major advantage as you can go from one single server implementation to a multi-clusters architecture whenever your needs are growing.
For our industry (logistics), Axway B2Bi plays a key role in managing operating costs as well as simplifying and streamlining onboarding operations & leverage security challenges as Axway always provides latest security standards.

As it has been continuously evolving since quite a long time and due to all its capabilities, the product might be a bit complex to apprehend at first.
