My experience with Drata has been amazing so far.
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is very intuitive to use, populate with evidence and navigate overall. It has additional capabilities on top of its main functionality that bring a lot of value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of the app are not fully automated, but those have been confirmed to be in the works by their team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is essential in our audit/certification processes, as well as tracking our evidence packages and monitoring our security controls.

Truly exceptional Customer Success team
What do you like best about the product?
The Customer Success team has been fantastic. Our CS manager, Jordan Penn, has gone above and beyond on multiple occassions, he's knowledgeable, friendly and seems genuinely dedicated to ensuring I am able to use the software in the best way possible - it's the most impressed I've been by a CS manager uing any software.
The platform itself is clear and well organised. It's full of helpful tips on what means what and how we should be inputting information. Very easy to integrate with other tech, which helps ensure it is hassle free and hands off keeping on top of everything compliance related.

I can only provide positives about working with Drata and using their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata has allowed us to obtain and maintain our compliance requirements and to obtain ISO, SOC and GDPR certifications.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy having the automation to connect similarities between multiple frameworks. I no longer need to keep track of various framework requirements and perform gap analysis on them. It is also extremley easy to use for both the administrators and company employees. Implmentation was easy, and the support team walked me through any issues I had. The amount of integrations with products I use makes it helpful to keep from having to check as many things manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that employees only see the documents assigned to them, which requires them to accept each one individually . I prefer to have all compliance docs available for review, but only assign specific ones to groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves having to keep track of requirements of all frameworks and combines them in an easy to use portal. It also helps provide a centralized location for documents as well as an easy to use audit portal.

As a small team tackling the complex Compliance process can be very difficult. Drata helped us navigate the complex requirements, needs, and documents required to get off the ground.
The team is especially helpful both pre-sale and post-sale to ensure you are successful. Our CDM Mike helped us stay on track and offered monthly and weekly syncs (early on) to help us learn the platform. He was available whenever we needed to discuss the platform, compliance needs, docs on their site etc, etc. The compliance experts in the app are very helpful with any random question you have, far exceeding my expectations on the kind of support you can get via a chat tool.

Drata seeks to make the complex landscape of compliance more accessible. They help you quickly grasp what work you need to do and how to divide and conquer it across you team.

What do you like best about the product?
The upside of using Drata is its customer support, we've had the pleasure of working with Jordan and he has been a huge help in our process to become SOC2 certified, we would have been so lost without him.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Drata is that it can be overwhelming at first with so many options available, it's easy to get lost. But after you use it more frequently, you start learning how to navigate and find what you're looking for. It does become easier to understand with time.

Soc2 made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Having gone through the Soc2 process with two companies - one which used Drata and one which didn't, I can honestly say that the platform is a godsend. I am able to have full visibilty on all of the team and keep on top of who is compliant and who needs to take action. There are also many policy templates which have been useful and saved us writing them all from scratch. I would say the platform is pretty easy to use. I'm not a technical genius and have managed to navigate around it just fine. Our assigned representative is Jordan Penn, and Jordan has been great in guiding us through the process. I've met with Jordan twice monthly over the past 12 months and found him to be very knowledgable and insightful. I highly recommend both Drata and Jordan.

It's quite expensive. Other than that, no negatives.

Drata is our platform to ensure we are Soc2 regulated

Ryan from Drata - was able to fix our DNS issues within 8 minutes. Better than most technical architects.

Your tech support articles are a bit too simple and not all that helpful.

Great experience, tons of knowledge and insight
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Drata makes everything. Most of what we need day over day gets handled automatically, but when something doesn't go as expected, the Drata team is right there. The chat feature makes it easy to get even complex questions answered quickly and our customer success manager, Ali, was always there for us with advice, support, and next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in my experience, it's been great for us.

Monitoring all of our cloud resources, tracking expirations of evidence, wrangling our personnel into compliance.
