Helpful But Overwhelming: My Experience with Hyperglance
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Hyperglance because it keeps everything in one place, making my cloud stuff way easier to handle. Instead of jumping between screens or getting lost in different tools, I can see everything I need at a glance. If something looks off, I catch it right away and fix it before it becomes a headache. It’s like having a remote control for my cloud, and it just makes my day run smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really like how Hyperglance can be a bit confusing. There’s so much stuff on the screen that it’s hard to find what I need quickly. Sometimes it takes too long to figure things out, and I wish it was easier to use. It’s helpful, but it can feel like a hassle when I’m in a hurry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance helps me by making it easier to manage my cloud setup. It shows me everything in one place, so I can spot and fix problems quickly. This saves me time and keeps things from getting out of hand. It’s a big help because I don’t have to switch between different tools or worry about missing something important.
using Hyperglance to curb our cloud spending
What do you like best about the product?
We primarily use Hyperglance to ensure compliance with our cloud costs. It’s worked great for us and has probably paid for itself 100 times over.
One of the things I like best about the tool is how easy it is to leverage. After a couple quick walkthroughs with the Hyperglance engineering team, I was ready to get started. Prior to implementing Hyperglance, we faced significant challenges keeping our environment under control, and the related costs were not small. Hyperglance cut those down immediately.
Another great thing about Hyperglance is that the information it provides enables strategic decision making for current and future cost optimization. Through using the tool, we’ve gained key insights like where the waste is and whether we have deficiencies in our build systems. We do builds many times a day, across multiple clouds, and by examining our Hyperglance dashboards and reports, we have been able to capture real savings.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have many complaints. There are only two things that come to mind:
• It can be challenging at times to leverage all the valuable features in each new release. But perhaps we’ll take better advantage going forward.
• For our customers, AWS and Azure are #1and #2, respectively. We’re now venturing into other environments, like Google Cloud. With Hyperglance, feature parity between the different platforms can feel a little lacking.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our test cases and automation are deployed as full-scale environments in the cloud. We do builds about every four hours. Over time, the storage costs associated with those builds become significant.
One of the problems we had was that many of these environments were running all day and all night, even if we didn’t need them to, and our costs were going through the roof.
Hyperglance solved the problem by systematizing cleanup of our online environments. The benefit has been huge: The cost of the license is nothing compared to the amount of money we’ve saved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance has automated the documentation I need to produce for my Compliance team (which took me hours each month). It's also helped me identify unused and insecure resources that I've shut down, saving me money on my cloud bill.
