What do you like best about the product?
Ability to API enable our core assets, and sunset several other API tools such as API Manager, APIgee, WSRR.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we started implementing API Connect, there was no elegant way to just do discovery the services. I believe my tech team has been working to get that issue resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Democritizing data; breaking monoliths into micro services to enable agility.

What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive. It has range spectrum of embedded product that is needed. I like API security configuration options. Developers portal is intuitive. Easy to install.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security token is not easy to integrate in solution. Needs lot of configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
REST API exposure for external consumption.

What do you like best about the product?
It is every easy to understand how to create an API and also publish it. The documentation of API Connect is nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very hard to debug a policy once it created. I would like to have the same possibility to debug as you get in the IBM Integration Bus, to be able to see the different headers and the message body.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way of making applications more accessable.

Easy to configure, secure and expose APIs
Good set of security features out of the box
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not fully support our change implementation strategy for product upgrades
No native HSM support other than Luna (which doesnt support HA)
We have had to write extensions for native features not currently available in v5
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open Banking APIs exposed to regulated TPPs
Interal APIs exposed to key channels (e.g. internet banking)

Best way to go to Open Bank

What do you like best about the product?
It fits perfect for all the Bank industry in order to offer data as a service
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost, it a long way to get the ROI, for middle size bank it is an expensive bit

B2B businees is being a challenge for banks, it has to be a easy way to get our customers connected

What do you like best about the product?
We required the functionality of an API Manager and API Connect answered 95% of all our requirements
What do you dislike about the product?
Extremely difficut to customize the UI that we had to work with an IBM partner to modify it to suit our requirements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to monetize our financial functionality and use a single platform for all our internal applications requiring access to our core systems
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its functionality is ex ceptional, but check the price and the ease of customization.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that we are moving to a unified platform to house all of our organizations API's. Certainly beats trying to determine whether an API already exists. We have just begun to roll this out across the organization and it has been incredibly well received.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like anything it takes time to roll out any new technology - while we are moving it would be great to move much quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Providing us visibility and accessibility for our APIs managed in one place.
2. Benefits - everyone wants to use it and adoption has been incredibly high.
