All you need in one place
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like the most as a designer and programmer is that even tho I'm not creating campaigns and sending them, I can work on my designs without worrying about anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The switch in between accounts sometimes isn't very smooth and leads to errors, but you get used to clicking home first before switching and makes things less buggy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a designer, so I don't use the whole platform, but for my design-related needs, blueshift makes everything easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a platform that can deal with everything in one place, this is your answer

They are a one stop solution for all our communication needs!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a nice and simple pipeline but still very flexible. Everything comes through as an event, set all the custom properties you could need, and send the message as whatever you like. Then the statistical data is all there, ready for marketing to use. As a backend dev, there is a considerable part of the workload off my shoulders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. Every product can always improve. But it does what it needs to, and our needs are pretty straightforward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined all our events, notifications, and emails into one single process on the backend of our system. As a backend developer, this is huge! It gives marketing the freedom to request any events on a whim, and it doesn't bog down the development process. And it provides marketing the freedom to set up whatever types of messages or notifications to the customer without waiting for any support from development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are comfortable making API calls and you need a beefy but simple solution, Blueshift is excellent to work with! Simple, straightforward, and works for simple or enterprise needs.

I like being able to communicate to people targetting time they are most active on their emails.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to manipulate the data in several places.
First list, then Segment, them link everything together. It is time keeping and sometimes it leads to mistakes.

I am reaching students. With Blueshift, I have the possibility to provide informa tion to a certain number of person, at the same time, by the same email.

The product team should thik about facilitate the process : to do this, the product team should review the wording, add some explainations and provide best practices.

Informative/helpful articles on marketing techniques, Blueshift academy courses with quizzes to learn and receive certification, email campaign builder/designer
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could further personalize email designs, file size limitations are very low (1MB) which is pretty restrictive when wanting to include high quality/resolution imagery
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift is improving mine, and my company's marketing practices by offering education on things like omnichannel marketing and using smart AI along with the opportunity to view reports and insights easily
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blueshift offers an immense library of online marketing education and insight, things you didn't even know were possibe. The customization tools inside of the email campaign journey builder are very user-friendly. Customer support is timely and very helpful in answering questions as well as providing resolutions to any issues you face
In the sea of "Solutions" that are more smoke and mirrors, the good ones do stand out!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to work with, integrates with a plethora of new kids on the block. Amazing analytics which Is a must-have these days I'm afraid. Love the editor support for shared assets insertions and the preview tabs are really accurate. The most important thing is it never let my expectations down, but pushed me to learn how to use the more advanced options and it's so worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've noticed (and this is on very rare occasions when I need something done in 5mins) is the Drag & Drop editor needs some extra functions revolving around the block split customizing, but there is a workaround for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great solutions for custom liquid tags, made my life easier I have to say.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use around 9 different ESPs on a daily basis, and I have to say that Blueshift takes the cake!
Easy, Comprehensive tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Blueshift easy to use and is easily customizable to different campaigns we are working on. The team at Blueshift is always willing to collaborate on new features if they have not already been built.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UX or the messaging in the tool can feel confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track purchases in our Family product with Blueshift and other essential activities, which allows us to measure the success of our campaigns better.
Excellent email template builder, but sometimes interface seems clunky.
What do you like best about the product?
Of all the visual email editors I've tested, the one from Blueshift is by far the best. The ease of setting up the different automation is also a big plus, as is the automatic selection of the best time slots for sending communication. The heatmap feature is well integrated and I found it useful to optimize automated emails. I'm also impressed but how fast Blueshift processess a lot of information, for example when creating a custom segment of less than two thousand people in a 10M+ user database.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no automated saves on the email builder. The interface isn't adapted to small screens, and some options are well hidden in sub-menus. Especially the advanced campaign settings. I train colleagues on the basic functionalities of the tool, but it remains challenging for them as the interface can be counterintuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I send communications to professionals in various fields. I need to maximize my engagement rate by combining open rate and click rate. Automatically limiting the number of communication a user receives per day allow to work with other teams without fear of ending up in the spam folder. Since my community is based anywhere in the world, being able to send communications in a 24-hours timeframe is game-changing: I don't need to worry about sending an email at an impromptu schedule! Last but not least, the Report tab is fully customizable and it's really easy to show data to my colleagues in a well-organized dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dedicate this software to huge user bases. For periodic communications to small communities, I would'nt recommend Blueshift. To be efficient, prefer working with automatic segments. Thety much better handled than CSV/XLS lists.
A one stop destination for email marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift provides you with the ability to create simplified reports and insights about marketing campaigns. This feature is rapid and can be optimized in many ways for digital marketing teams. We've been using this feature to determine the performance of our email campaigns and strategizing for future projects. The metrics are easy to understand, and there are many creative ways you can form a report. Another thing I like about Blueshift is its ability to export and import data within minutes. This process is very quick and saves my team so much time to get other things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond that there is no spell check for texts in creatives. A recommendation would be to add a Grammarly integration into email creatives. Spell check or a Grammarly integration can change the game for marketing teams without going out of the way to check for spelling and errors. This feature can really speed up the QA process for emails, SMS, and so much more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we're solving with Blueshift is that we're saving up so much time by not creating manual reports. We're using blueshift insights and reports instead of doing all the manual work to create excel sheets.
Highly useful resource to maximize creativity -even for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift provides a wide range of tools that allow any user to make their campaign or initiative work. I feel like I am constantly learning and finding new tools that I can utilize to my advantage. From building email campaigns to gaining insights into what works best for the end-user, you have a lot of creative freedom to make an effective campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part of Blueshift would be the learning curve. In the beginning, it can be challenging to understand what all the functions are and how they can each support your goals. It will take some repetition to nail down your skills and become a fluent user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift is helping our organization reach our end-users via email, sms and push campaigns. Through this platform, we have better understood what works for specific people, how they prefer to be reached and the types of content they respond to.
Great Customer Data Platform! A welcomed upgrade from our old platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's allowed us true omnichannel marketing capabilities. Blueshift has given us one central source for our data to feed into multiple channels. We're making use of email via multiple connectors and SMS via Twilio. We are looking to add Cloud App functionality shortly to support additional channels.
We're testing firebase integration for our consumer apps division, and so far, it's looking very promising.

I dislike we didn't make the shift from our old platform sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift has given us additional ways to segment our data and reach the right customer at the right time. We're working on improving deliverability on email so we can realize revenue growth.
