A good product for financial reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Financial reporting capabilities with Sage are good and easy to pick up. Reporting usually runs very quickly. Modifying a report is generally easy once the user knows how to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting reports to excel leaves something to be desired. Reports get exported to excel with rows that are merged, and need to be manually unmerged for excel formulas to work properly. Editing reports is mostly straightforward, but there are some QOL features that would be helpful. For example, having the ability to be able to delete or add multiple columns to a report at once would be a great feature. Customer support is not as responsive to inquiries as other ERP companies I've used in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage helps me generate the financial statements I need for my company's monthly financial reviews and external financial partners.
Straightforward program that's easy to use but could use some upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, sage is pretty easy to navigate with easy labeled tabs and navigation. Once you figure out where everything is, it is simple and clear cut as to where to go for what. I also like that you can create your own favorites bar for shortcuts to your most used resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The whole sage interface could use a facelift, it seems to be a little outdated looking compared to it's competitor programs. It just looks old school. In timesheets, there is a box to the left that you must exit out of the expand the names of the jobs which to me, feels unnecessary, if I'm going to fill out my timesheet I want to see as much of the codes as I can. The search bar in tasks could also be improved upon. When I search exact names, things don't often come up. I would like to see them add a customized dashboard so you can have a prettier and simpler homepage each time you open sage, not updates on their 2025 release or random links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it as part of my company's timesheet coordination.

So far nothing about Sage that I don't like.

Sage Intacct Review (Payroll & Employee Data Entry Perspective)
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct improves the efficiency of payroll services by simplifying data entry and cutting down on manual tasks. Its integration process allows information to transfer seamlessly into the system, which helps reduce errors. The reporting features are robust, and after overcoming the initial learning curve, I find the platform dependable for keeping accurate payroll records and supporting compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting to know Sage Intacct and learning how to use it effectively can take quite a bit of time. Certain customizations add to the overall complexity, making the learning curve even steeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution reduces manual labor and eliminates the need for double entry, making labor tracking more accurate. It also offers scalability to handle high employee turnover and leads to improved reporting.
SAGE INTACCT = AWESOME
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how user-friendly the software is. It allows you to accomplish a wide range of tasks, from performing monthly reconciliations to setting up new entities. Whenever I encounter an issue or need assistance with a problem, customer support is always available and ready to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints about the software.

This platform enables us to manage all of our financials through a single central application. It makes things easier for every user, and since it is web-based, we can access it from anywhere.
Sage Intacct WOW
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is user friendly and offers a help section which is easy to navigate. Creating custom reports that are auto generated for a credit control team saved hours of work each month. Payment runs are easier and faster rather than manually setting individual they are done by importing a file. Reduces the chance of payments been missed. The babk line feeds have also saved alot of time when we have set rules so it applies to the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when an error pops up its not often clear were to go to solve the problem. Some downtime when the bank feeds dont show or come later on that day. Not often, and everything has niggles now and again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time, time is important in any role and the manual processes in place have been replaced with a slick process. From importing bank feeds and payment files create weekly, its more accurate and efficient.
Game changing for our business
What do you like best about the product?
Love the automation that we now have, helping us become more efficient, saving time and effort. Specifically around bank feeds/assignment rules and the collections module with automated statements and reminders being a huge benefit to our credit control team.
On top of that our reporting is now much simpler with customised reports set up to give us the information we need in the format we want.
On the few occasions we've needed to use customer support they have been really helpful in providing the answers we needed, so no complaints there.
The customer success team are also a valuable resource that we have leant on to help improve our system in terms of reports, dashboards and processes.

What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides to be honest. The only one I can think of is that because it's much bigger than our previous system and the audit trail is much better it can take a little longer to correct an error or adjust something that may not be quite right. That's not necessarily a downside though, just highlights the robustness of the system, especially compared to something like Sage 50!

Automation of repetitive, time consuming manual processes, like data entry, running reports, sending reminders and statements to customers. All this is now streamlined using the processes built into Intacct

The configurability and reliability of the software

Some of the more advanced settings can be a bit tricky to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us keep an accurate record of all AP and AR transactions which then helps the accountants create reliable and readily accessible financial reports
Sage has significantly improved our ability to monitor financials.
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting capabilities are far superior to the Sage50 system that we were using prior. The previous system was much slower, required a VPN to access and was clunky.

The learning curve is steep, however the resources provided are very useful and helpful to understand the system.

Timely reporting is the biggest one. It has helped us be able to provide stakeholders with better, more accurate and more efficient reporting.
Amazing Accounting software
What do you like best about the product?
I just love how easy it is to sue, everything is labeled perfectly!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like how sometimes you cant always reverse/delete a mistake and you have to create a new journal :(

They always seem to come up with new updates that help make the website less buggy which is nice
