Review for Sage Intact Software
What do you like best about the product?
The system makes it simple to customize reports and dashboards, which greatly streamlines decision-making and enhances financial planning. Furthermore, because it is cloud-based, users can securely access it from any location, making it particularly valuable for remote teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there is nothing I dislike about Sage Intact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate how easy it is to navigate through all the reports in the software. The summaries for aged debtors and creditors are clearly broken down, and I also find the breakdowns of the income statement and balance sheet very helpful.

It has a lot of options and it is a complex user interface

It can be a bit too complicated at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my company handle invoices and that benefits me directly. Further, the recent changes made it easier to use.
Great ERP for mid-sized business
What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of features Sage Intacct provides, from JE import templates to sales invoices and AP approvals. All work great and intuitively
What do you dislike about the product?
Coding Smart Rules for AP and bank reconciliation can be difficult to get correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to import many invoices and large journal entries with an import template
New user - so far so good!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly and seems to be very comprehensive, I like that I can drill into reports within the system and cut data in different ways on screen without having to manually intervene (Excel!)
Admittedly I could do with some further training to get the full benefits, the Sage help and University has been great though to get me up and running!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've encountered so far is that I can't open multiple browser tabs when trying to look into details. Whenever I try to open a new tab, it just displays a blocked message. This forces me to navigate everything on a single page and try to remember my original spot, which can be quite frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to rely more on the system/software and reduce the amount of manual input/intervention which gives confidence and reduces the opportunity for errors - particularly with more junior members of the team!

What do you like best about the product?
The modular structure and cloud-native architecture make Sage Intacct exceptionally scalable. I especially appreciate the dimensional chart of accounts, which lets us tag and slice data without creating excessive GL accounts. The multi-entity and multi-currency support are top-tier, perfect for global or distributed organizations. It’s clear the system was built by finance professionals for finance professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform offers deep automation of AP/AR workflows, customizable dashboards for real-time performance monitoring, and strong audit trail features that ensure compliance. The reporting and analytics tools are intuitive and flexible—saving us hours during close cycles and audits. Its seamless integration with Salesforce and other systems minimizes data entry and boosts productivity. Overall, it empowers our finance teams to be more strategic and less transactional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is solving key challenges in financial visibility, manual data entry, and multi-entity consolidation. Before implementation, our team struggled with time-consuming close cycles, inconsistent reporting, and siloed data across departments. Now, with Sage Intacct, we’ve centralized our financial processes—automating approvals, streamlining intercompany transactions, and generating real-time, audit-ready reports. This has significantly improved accuracy, accelerated our month-end close, and empowered leadership with data-driven insights for faster decision-making. Ultimately, it’s freed up our team to focus more on strategy and less on spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a straightforward accounting software, so there's nothing to not like about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We needed more (like time sheets) and it seemed painful to add on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was our accounting platform and pretty much that was it.
Great accounting software for those with little experience with ERP systems.
What do you like best about the product?
SAGE is relatively easy to navigate, the system is quick to respond. It was easy for my manager to teach me how to make JEs, generate bills and invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to filter/keep status of certain items. One thing that really bothers myself and my coworkers is tracking the status of a bill along its approved to posted status. I post the bill for review, it is then approved, then I have to pay it, then that has to be approved again before it is eventually posted. I wish there was a notification box aside from getting lost in my emails letting me know it is ready for the next step.
-we have also had the issue with SAGE connected and disconnected to our bank accounts causing duplicates we need to ensure are being ignored.
-I also wish there is a way to automate JEs in the near future, there is a lot of manual entry for reoccurring entries that I strongly believe AI could handle.

SAGE is helping our business track our processes and organize billing and its record process.

What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other software's I have used I appreciate that you can make changes to JE at any time without having to void the prior entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our Fixed Asset Module is horrible and reports never match to tie out between the module and the GL
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no real problems it is solving for me currently.
Easy to use software that integrates with almost every aspect of our businesss!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is the custom dimension capabilities you're able to add. It allows you to really take your experience to a whole new level and adapt the software to your specific use case. Our customer support with RKL has always been timely and extremely helpful. They implemented our software and any new changes we needed. We rely on them frequently to utilize all the features we are unaware of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prepaid expense amortization software is not user friendly to every use case. It doesn't automatically adapt to your companies custom fiscal calendar. I understand there are integrations that can be purchased to achieve this, but if Sage is going to offer a free module, then it should work with all components of Sage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves pretty much every aspect of our accounting process. It allows us to track all of our revenues and expenses down to the specific dimension and identifiers that we require in our industry.
