Great Simple Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
I do like that so many features of Sage are easy and intuitive to use. Things are nicely organized and customizable.
I use it every day and love discovering new capabilities that is has to make my job easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks to Intacct that make accounting functions tricky sometimes. I do wish that it could handle credit memos better and not need to apply them against an invoice, because that is not always possible. I also wish building out reports was easier and more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct solves the problem of being better than out last accounting system and giving us more features.
Intacct has been a great start to my accounting career and learning the aspects of bookkeeping.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Intacct is easy to use. I use it everyday, multiple times a day and I find myself appreciating the amount of things I can do at one time.
What do you dislike about the product?
What would be more beneficial for Intacct would be the ability to set have multiple date ranges open at one time. When I am looking at monthly reports, trying to compare, I would like to be able to have both months open at the same time, but if I need to edit one, it updates and changes the date range for both of them - leading me to have to go back and rerun what I was looking at.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn, anyone with basic knowledge can figure it out

Wish there was ways to do mass reclasses

cloud based and feeding info from multiple sources with minimal manipulation.
The Upgrade Is Worth It
What do you like best about the product?
We upgraded from Sage 100 to Sage Intaact and the differences and improvements have been such an increase in quality of work life. The ability to work collaboratively and in sync with our vendors has made the job so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, honestly. The implementation is a bit hard but the templates made it easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AP Automation has made it easy to input our bills for our weekly check runs.
User Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is flexible in meeting different needs and tracking and can be easily set up. there are a lot of features that can be used and integration is reasonable. Frequency of use - not sure what this means but you can go in anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage reporting is not friend and expedient like its competitors. It is a time-consuming process and difficult to easily create. Customer support is not done by Sage but by third parties and if you get a bad rep, you are stuck with them or you have to start the implementation all over. Other systems are better, and some integrations have errors so ease of integration with other systems is not good and Sage is not helpful in this effort unless you pay the third parties more even though they say an integration is possible.

Limited reporting ability. Sometimes i try to make a report that's not possible in Sage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we transitioned to Sage Intacct I was able to upload a budget and create reports that compared to the budget which made reviews much easier.
Internship Experience on Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
As an accounting intern just being introduced to the world of accounting, Sage Intacct has made it very easy to learn about the varying responsibilities of accounting with it's easy to use interface. The ease of implementation when using tools like the fixed asset import feature have made using Sage Intacct very enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features within Sage Intacct vary in the usability and updated status which can make for confusion when there is varying uses to tools within Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining of journal entries, depreciation of fixed assets, and more accurate revenue tracking. Sage Intacct is making it easier for the entire firm to implement acquisitions.
Technology at its Best
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct offers numerous advantages over its competitors. They are always at the forefront of new technology; they don't play catch-up. A very extensive library of support documents and videos. Most of their products are very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be a little on the high side for basic modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compared to our last product, processes are are much quicker. Access to info via drill-down is more efficient.

Cloud Based - we moved from an on-prem to cloud and it saved us storage - updates etc.

Downloads can be bit slow but that could be down to internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps when clients ask for us for information which we can now provide. As we keep a longer data retention period we can keep send go back to information which we couldn't before.
Sage Intacct has met my needs.

Sage is always trying to automate and become better and easier to use.

It is a very long process to get help with tickets.
