Helps Me Keep Our Books Clean and Clear
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the dashboards show me everything in one place and the reports are easy to build. It saves me a lot of time when closing books each month. I also like that it connects well with other tools we use, so things run smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes making special reports takes too many clicks and feels a bit slow. The budgeting part could also be easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from a smaller system and now we don’t need extra spreadsheets for tracking money. It helps us close faster, catch mistakes early, and give our team better reports to make smart choices.
User Friendly tool for Data Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
What i likes the most is it's saving my time incase of complex complex workflows it just simplifies it and i could collaborate with my team

There is nothing to dislike but yes i can give suggestion that you could improve is it the resources could be a bit more detailed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me to get better visibility of my project . I want track project costs, budgets, and revenue in real time with a good accuracy and it solves that for me which helped to make better decisions
Clean and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
- The memorized reports update pretty much instantly after uploading a journal entry
- Journal entry is possible by uploading a CSV

What do you dislike about the product?
- The "reference number" field is free text, I feel like it should be more standardized as to where you'd select a document number
- I do not love how the Excel/CSV outputs have account totals, kind of makes the data a bit less clean

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps our bill paying process relatively clean. Easy to output and analyze account balances for specific periods of time
Very user friendly - makes for light work.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has been a huge upgrade for us (we used to use Sage 300).
I love how automated things have become - things like invoices, payments, and expense tracking basically run themselves now. The reports and dashboards are super clear, and it is easy to get both the big picture and the fine details when we need them.
My personal favourite is that you put the banking information in the same stop as the vendor information. I know it's a small detail, but it saves me so much time when a vendor updates their information.

What do you dislike about the product?
The one feature I feel it could benefit from is having it's own payroll program - I really enjoyed that feature in Sage 300 and will miss it. Especially with the price increase.
I also think there should be a way to use the same cheque number if an error is made. When I first started using the system I accidentally posted a cheque payment through top level. I reversed it in the top level and posted in at the entity level, but it wouldn't let me reuse the cheque number (even after I went in and changed the cheque sequence number). I get that it's a safety feature, but as a human we all make mistakes and it would be nice to have the option to fix it.
It would be nice for future customers that are making the switch to be able to pull information from Sage 300 (if that's they system they are leaving). It took me weeks to make spreadsheets of all our AP & AR vendors (names, addresses, phone, banking info, etc.). We are a small company so I can't imagine how time consuming it would be for a large entity to make the switch.

It is making reporting so much easier. In our previous system anytime we received new funding we would have to make all new codes (travel, honoraria, etc.). This is much easier - one travel code - just link it to the correct fund.

Fast Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is really fast at tasks, and for looking up invoices and information within the system. The speeds of the online cloud software are far faster than the desktop versions in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Sage Intacct platform is less user friendly, where there are too many folders on the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoice automation is the key process that I am using it for, as it is making the accounting process more automated.
Good Software
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using the software. It is easy to use and suits us for our business needs.

The software can be quite costly for our small business.

What I like best about Sage Intacct is its ability to easily import transactions, which saves time and streamlines our financial workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing about Sage Intacct is that some of the interface elements and workflows can feel a bit unintuitive at times, which occasionally slows down navigation or setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct makes it easy to track financials by department, giving us clear visibility into spending, budgeting, and performance across different areas of the organization.
A major time save everyday.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to navigate. The amount of time I've saved with multiple navigation tools is immense. As someone who uses Intacct everyday it is very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like an option to be notified if I forget to give an entry an Account. Also a better duplicate system would be great.

It helps me have a nice organized General Ledger.
Entry Level AP User
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitiveness of the program. I remembers my actions and learns as we go to common actions. I love the reporting and the ability to input data from one to the other such as 1099 reporting and funding review each payables cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I should be able to delete my own personalized, memorized reports without needing additional permission. If I can create it, edit it; I should be able to delete it. I also believe that PDFs of report all show on standard 8x11, portrait and it should be intuitive to show data visually appealing and simplified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of collaboration between AP Team, report options (PDF, excel, CSV, etc.) and upload templates are amazing

I hate that you can't download P&L's to excel with formulas in it.

It is solving our need for an accounting software for multiple different entities.
