Game Changer for Our Non-Profit Organization

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful features of monday.com is how it brings all communication into a central location. It allows us to manage our events and staff communication in one place but in a very organized fashion. One of the biggest upsides to using monday.com for over four years and I feel like with all of the new updates and linking platforms the possibilities with this are endless! I love that no matter what projects we are navigating there are the tools that we need to keep it organized and on track.

Another thing that is one of the most helpful features is the main workspace and inbox features. In the inbox I can quickly see anything that I need to catch up on, that I was tagged in, or that is on an item I’m responsible for. In the main workspace I can see a recap of how I’m doing on all of my projects. The my week teacher allows me to keep track of the organization as a whole to make sure that we are on track for all of our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small learning curve to the platform but for anyone who is even the slightest bit tech savvy, there will be no problem quickly adapting to the basic functions. Althought this is a plus at times, it can be a bit overwhelming trying to find the platforms and functions that you want to use because there are so many options. It can feel a bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems that we are solving with monday.com is scattered communication across our organization. Especially during quarantine and with some of us working at home, this platform allowed us all to communicate and see the progress of each project. The benefits are multiple projects at one time being completed on time! Being a nonprofit, many of my key leaders are volunteers. Utilizing this software allows me to connect with all of them in one central place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think one of the biggest considerations in choosing monday.com is if you have someone on your staff or team that will effectively manage and learn all of the linkable platforms in features of the software. Because there are so many it does take some time to learn everything that is possible with monday.com.

Monday is a great tool for event planning

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is easy to use, visually appealing and has great customer support that gets back to you within hours. I have used Asana, Trello and Wrike and this one is by far the most agile system. Even the automations are easy to implement if your not tech savvy or the support team will show you how. It's also pretty easy to figure out how to use the platform as they have tons of 1-3 minutes videos you can google to show you how to do what you need quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a Design Agency I use I have been told, Monday.com only works if you bill flat rate and don't bill the hours you track. Monday.com does have time tracking available, but you can only export it to an Excel document.

I wish you could do more with subitems, but that is on the roadmap. Additionally wish you could format text like bold, bullets etc in threads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage multiple events and collaborate with your team and teams across the company. Excellent for cutting down on emails and easily collaborate on projects quickly without the extra context as you see that in the task.

Great Organizational Tool

What do you like best about the product?
We used to use a free website to organize and schedule projects, but the move to Monday.com was a no-brainer. I love the collaborative aspect of the app. I can add all of the items my team needs to complete each task. Also, automation helps tremendously. I use Monday.com throughout my entire workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some days are glitchier than others. I like when updates are flagged in the talk bubble but sometimes they do not show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the problem of keeping all of my information in one place. Monday.com makes it easier for everyone to be involved instead of communications only being in emails that not everyone can see.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try if you are on the fence about it. After you use it (even for a short time), you will see it is not easy to work without it.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is excellent, and the platform itself is very user-friendly. It offers a high degree of flexibility, making it easy to adapt to nearly any challenge or process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a global company, it does not provide a solution for multi-tenants or multi storage zone places. Limits the information to be stored and managed in one single account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Breaking down silos across every level of the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
monday.com can truly adapt to any environment. It is easy to use, and they are always growing and bringing new features to make it an even more robust workflow management tool. Highly recommended to anyone that wants to streamline processes and avoid silos.

Monday is a good task management tool that continues to add features

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to start using Monday.com. It's interface is clean and intuitive. Features are well thought out and useful. This has been a good tool for me to organize task lists for different meetings and groups of people. I continually find new ways to use this product to help me and my team remain organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main feature I wish was better is the roadmap view. It is currently limited to displaying explicit start and end dates on each item. I would really like more flexibility to define time ranges in weeks, months, or quarters instead of manually trying to set those time frames with dates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Monday.com extensively as a way to organize notes and tasks from meetings. I have several recurring meetings with various parts of our business and we use boards on Monday.com to keep track of the meeting topics to discuss, the tasks members of the meetings need to accomplish, and the state of those tasks. Not only has this allowed us to consolidate this process to a single tool, but it has greatly enhanced our ability to keep track and manage these things. We also use Monday to organize and communicate our large projects and the product roadmap with the business. With its easy to use interface, it is a better tool to present this information to the non-technical stakeholders than the other tools we have in place.

What do you like best about the product?
you can be organized and find any kind of doc in one place. Also, you can track tasks and deadlines for your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will like to create a calendar as a view of a calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track all my team tasks and responsibilities in only one place, including any document they need to send. The benefit I found is that I don't lose any important doc and don't have to remember the exact location I saved it. Also, we can track all the processes and updates of any task of any member of the team to see if they are on the right path.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
implement new ways to create a dashboard with more options

The core of our project management and workflows

What do you like best about the product?
Monday works like a spreadsheet but in the cloud. That makes it perfect for collaboration with team members and third parties (like my accountant). It prevents multiple versions of documents and mistakes. It is very user-friendly but still advanced. The UX is very friendly and it gives you the opportunity to build boards based on your needs. Also, the dashboard option is usefull to get a quick overview of all your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prices depend on the number of users. You pay the same for 1-5 users. That means that if I have five users and add one more, I have to pay for an additional five users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I'm solving is to keep and manage all different projects for clients. I'm using templates to standardize the work processes to provide a consistent delivarabel. Also, we have to keep track of time spent on hour projects, and with time tracking, this is easy, without the need for an extra tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make a testing environment to get to know all the features. Because Monday launches new features regularly, it allows you to test without touching your current data.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is integrated in a way that just makes sense. It's very intuitive, not clunky, and is easy for teams to customize to their needs and ways of working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints so far. There was a slight learning curve, but I find that to be the case with any platform. There have been some glitches and outages lately so that is a bummer when it goes down for the whole team for hours at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our team being entirely remote and having so many players, it was essential to have a single location for all of our project planning - Monday delivered in spades.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dig into the automation, and don't be afraid to scrap a board and start again.

Great Project Management for Small Business

What do you like best about the product?
I have a team of 10 people that I have to give assignments out to and we're all remote which makes checking in difficult. Monday allows all communication in one place, as people come and go from a project, there is an easy tracking way.

I also love the ease to add projects, upload, etc. It's all super easy and easy to onboard with their helpful videos. It's one part that never has more questions, team members easily become part of the team for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
They had one feature I miss which showed all the projects on the way to completion and the % done as they marked done. That was really helpful because I was able to see the progress the team was making on the project as a whole and not have to scroll up on every task and project. Overall though, I think the customization options are really great and I can't think of anything else it's missing. I also miss the time tracking sum at the bottom so I could see how much time had been spent in total.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to manage my entire team from one place. I'm able to quickly review every person's assignment, every client, etc.
