An all in one management system for most companies
What do you like best about the product?
There’s a lot to like with monday.com. We use it everyday as our core management system that keeps track of all of our work items.
One of the reasons that Monday.com works well for us is that our work items usually follow a pipeline process, where some items require other teams to collaborate. With Monday.com cross-board automation, this is a breeze. Simply changing the status on one board auto-magically creates and connects items on other boards. The friction in moving work items between teams has been eliminated.
There is no limit to what you can do with automation, especially with custom ones. It uses basic English to create if-this-then-that workflows that just work. Automations have eliminated a lot of copy-pasting and manual labor. Once set up, creating an item with all the necessary sub-items and tasks is just one click. This really is the best feature of Monday.com. The new automation view is much neater as well. Very easy to create and view automations.
Another underrated feature is the search everything feature. As the name suggests, it really does search everything. Sometimes, you can’t recall where an item is. With this feature, searching is a lot easier.
Integrations are also amazing! We use it mostly with Slack and Gmail to send notifications or to create items on the boards, respectively. They've recently added a feature that allows you to reply to mentions and items directly from the Slack app!
Previously, we reached out to customer support for an issue we were facing. They responded fairly quickly and set up a meeting with us. The representative was very professional and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Given the size of some of our boards, monday.com tends to slow down at times. We were also facing an issue with automation failing. While we were able to see at what step they failed, the error was not really helpful. Turns out that if a user is deactivated from the workspace and an automation tries to assign that user to a people column with an automation, the automation outright fails. This is to be expected, but the error message was generic, and we had to figure this out on our own. Although a very niche case, but it did cause some work items to get missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem would be cross-team work collaboration. Our teams are classified based on the specific tasks they do. For us, creating a work item creates multiple different but relevant items onto team-specific boards. Furthermore, the automation makes it so that as the work item progresses and updates are made, the team next expected to take over also sees these changes and has updates on their own boards as well. This has made balancing work a lot easier. It is also our central repository of work items. It acts as a database as well of all the projects we have worked on. We run sprints and monday.com has made it easy to create sprints, keep track of work items, keep track of time and with monday.com docs, even create sprint reports. The dashboard widgets are also very nifty. They allow us to visualize the information easily.

Awesome tool to organize your day
What do you like best about the product?
You can adapt different templates to your projects, depending on your needs. You can create as many as you like and share them with your teammates. It is perfect to organize your work and pending tasks, add comments and due dates. And what I like the most, is that you can export your tables into CSV files and take them where you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I don't know how this is done. But on the same board, I'd like to make independent tables, with different values from one another. Nothing more, anything else is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to assign tasks, monitor them, and evaluate results. We are able to see clearly our data, web analytics, and social media planning. It is great for digital marketers, developers, and the sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to start using Monday. Although I recommend doing the short tutorial to see the wide options it brings and how can you adapt them to your daily day life.
Monday is super useful when you lead a team or a project
What do you like best about the product?
Organizing my work and having a clear view of what is left to do. It really helps when you need to estimate the time required for a task/a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not knowing how everything works, I would like more tutorials and templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can share updates on boards with several teams working on the same topic and it helps us have a clear view of the steps. This helps the customer service evaluate the amount of work needed to drive X or Y project and thus define Success Plans.
Loving Monday
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use; I can create anything I have in mind. Automations are just tremendous; Dashboards and Reports are an excellent complement for having a complete vision of day-to-day work and goal achievement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still challenging to Generate Reports with Subtasks; it would be excellent to use those properties 100%. I hope it arrives soon; I'm sure it will because of how quickly Monday evolves
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have achieved better communication and cohesion between the different teams, we have also been able to significantly reduce the omission of tasks and important dates since the planning is more precise and organized and as if that were not enough, automation reduces so much work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Totally recommend
Monday has been a great addition to our team
What do you like best about the product?
Tons of organization, very customizable. Also love that it opens up many more lines of communication between different teams
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there's anything that I dislike about Monday at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling with communicating information to different departments. Also, this helps us assign small tasks to several different departments in order to accomplish a much larger overall goal
Top Choice - Personal & Team Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to personalise each person's experience. The customisable and adaptable ability of the platform for individual, team or project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Admin privileges are behind a pay wall at the next level. Sometimes there are limited ways to connect information across different areas of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily task management is much more efficient when using Monday.com. The tasks that you do once a month, once a quarter or even less frequently can be automatically added to your tasks. Managing team projects is simpler especially in a remote-work environment as it's a holding place for communication, tasks and updates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with a basic onboarding process for all your users. After that let them set up their own boards in a way that works best for them.
Game Changer for Our Non-Profit Organization
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful features of monday.com is how it brings all communication into a central location. It allows us to manage our events and staff communication in one place but in a very organized fashion. One of the biggest upsides to using monday.com for over four years and I feel like with all of the new updates and linking platforms the possibilities with this are endless! I love that no matter what projects we are navigating there are the tools that we need to keep it organized and on track.
Another thing that is one of the most helpful features is the main workspace and inbox features. In the inbox I can quickly see anything that I need to catch up on, that I was tagged in, or that is on an item I’m responsible for. In the main workspace I can see a recap of how I’m doing on all of my projects. The my week teacher allows me to keep track of the organization as a whole to make sure that we are on track for all of our projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small learning curve to the platform but for anyone who is even the slightest bit tech savvy, there will be no problem quickly adapting to the basic functions. Althought this is a plus at times, it can be a bit overwhelming trying to find the platforms and functions that you want to use because there are so many options. It can feel a bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems that we are solving with monday.com is scattered communication across our organization. Especially during quarantine and with some of us working at home, this platform allowed us all to communicate and see the progress of each project. The benefits are multiple projects at one time being completed on time! Being a nonprofit, many of my key leaders are volunteers. Utilizing this software allows me to connect with all of them in one central place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think one of the biggest considerations in choosing monday.com is if you have someone on your staff or team that will effectively manage and learn all of the linkable platforms in features of the software. Because there are so many it does take some time to learn everything that is possible with monday.com.
Monday is a great tool for event planning
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is easy to use, visually appealing and has great customer support that gets back to you within hours. I have used Asana, Trello and Wrike and this one is by far the most agile system. Even the automations are easy to implement if your not tech savvy or the support team will show you how. It's also pretty easy to figure out how to use the platform as they have tons of 1-3 minutes videos you can google to show you how to do what you need quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a Design Agency I use I have been told, Monday.com only works if you bill flat rate and don't bill the hours you track. Monday.com does have time tracking available, but you can only export it to an Excel document.
I wish you could do more with subitems, but that is on the roadmap. Additionally wish you could format text like bold, bullets etc in threads.

Manage multiple events and collaborate with your team and teams across the company. Excellent for cutting down on emails and easily collaborate on projects quickly without the extra context as you see that in the task.
Great Organizational Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We used to use a free website to organize and schedule projects, but the move to Monday.com was a no-brainer. I love the collaborative aspect of the app. I can add all of the items my team needs to complete each task. Also, automation helps tremendously. I use Monday.com throughout my entire workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some days are glitchier than others. I like when updates are flagged in the talk bubble but sometimes they do not show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved the problem of keeping all of my information in one place. Monday.com makes it easier for everyone to be involved instead of communications only being in emails that not everyone can see.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try if you are on the fence about it. After you use it (even for a short time), you will see it is not easy to work without it.
Very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The prompts and reminders are really helpful to ensure you are keeping up to date with your tasks. Working in Customer care these boards also allow me to track my data having it all in one space and keep track of my KPIs. You can also put in links to other systems making it easy to access other data.
Our office is also paperless so using Monday.com boards as to-do lists/task list is really helpful, especially with many of our team members working from home and often offsite.
We also use boards for staff inductions so we can ensure new team members have everything they need before they start.

What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage, there is nothing I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Monday.com boards to contact our clients when making customer care calls. We create contact lists with links to contact details including number, email ect - this allows me to keep data in one space and also allows me to keep track of calls made and other KPIs.
I also use Monday.com boards instead of Gmail to help me keep track of general tasks, to-do lists, and by subscribing to other team members to my boards they can see if I have availability in my day for other tasks. Team members can also subscribe me to boards if I need to complete tasks.
We also use Monday.com boards when running team events like Christmas, reward days, lunches ect. This way we can use the boards like a to-do list and mark off tasks once completed.

This program is for you if you need help with managing workflow and task lists. It is also really helpful for allocating tasks to team members.
