Monday.com makes work a breeze

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has made my Project Management a breeze. Automations and Outlook Integration make simple or daunting tasks feel effortless. From setting daily notifications to forms or intricate sub-boards and sub-columns. Automating most of my workflow gives me ample free time to take on other tasks throughout my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't too much to dislike about Monday.com. The automation features can sometimes be a little complicated to set up exactly how you want them, but a little trial and error, and you can get everything to work as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management is a big problem all businesses and professionals struggle to utilize. Being able to save time through Monday.com and its helpful features has allowed me to grow and focus on other aspects of my business.

Invaluable with staff working from home

can be tailored to not only your own company's needs but to individual staff needs

notifications but you can turn these off

knowing exactly what staff are working on, seeing beforehand if staff are meeting targets so can identify any issues early and resolve

Great Task Management Platform

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com's flexibility has been the best feature for us - it has allowed us to utilize a single platform for much more than just a task management system, which compared to a few other task platforms is leagues ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've really only run into two complaints: first being the flexibility on recurring tasks (ie. setting something to recur annually on a specific date is not very straight forward - or on a custom quarterly basis), and second it would be great to have additional review features (ie. being able to leave comments on an image asset, etc).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to use boards almost like spreadsheets, allowing us to add automation and rules whereas before just using spreadsheets we were left using multi-step processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We've jumped around from several competing task management systems and Monday.com is so much more and a more reasonable price point than their competitors. Could not be happier with the platform!

Effective for Diverse Task Management, Room for Simplicity

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the way monday Work Management helps me streamline work management through its statuses and boards. The statuses make managing tasks much easier by providing clear visibility into each task's current state, helping me understand if further input or review is necessary or if work is completed. The board functionality is another standout aspect for me, as it allows me to visualize and monitor the progression of tasks over weeks, ensuring that I can complete all necessary tasks within a month. This feature greatly aids in planning and managing workloads effectively for both client work and our in-house tasks. Additionally, the ability to track work duration and workload distribution across my team and departments is a tremendous asset, offering insights into availability and workload balance across different departments. Overall, these features significantly enhance efficiency and organization in managing various projects and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the board creation process a bit difficult and would prefer if it could be more simplified. Additionally, I feel that the formulas and related functionalities could be more helpful. The learning curve for the initial setup was quite steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to track work hours and manage client and in-house tasks, which helps me monitor staff workload and availability across departments. It simplifies task status tracking, ensuring timely completion and identifying tasks needing further input or review.

What do you like best about the product?
I simply love how easy it is to organize all of the documents between various projects. And I love that I can easily connect to Slack, to google doc, to word, and to email through Monday
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the constant emails I get sent with updates. I am on top of my work, so I do not need an additional email telling me about progress
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great organizational tool and it is so easy to keep track of progress on various projects, to communicate with my co-workers, and to have ti all in one space.

Amazing platform

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has completely changed the way I stay organized with all my tasks. It's easy to learn and is very customizable. I can't imagine not using it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the needs of my job, monday has performed exceptionally well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get a better idea of our offices daily/weekly/monthly tasks all from one simple document that I can customize to our company's needs.

Do not sleep on this program! I regret not trying it sooner.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to use and well organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about monday.com!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday solves the communication problem between my co-workers and me. It is easy to see what has been completed on a project and what still needs work. It is also quite simple to find my assigned tasks and work on them. With monday, I don't need to send as many emails, I can just tag a coworker in an update.

Organized, User-Friendly, sometimes a little tricky

What do you like best about the product?
One thing my team really appreciates is how Monday.com allows us to breakdown bigger projects into smaller assignments, and subtasks. It’s nice to see each step laid out on a timeline—knowing what’s due and when helps us avoid last-minute stress. The calendar view for my workload is also super practical because it shows all my tasks for the week. This way, I know when things are piling up and can plan accordingly, or work with my team when I'm overloaded so we can meet deadline and manage client's expectations.

The automations are another solid feature. We’ve set up automations for recurring tasks, like weekly social posts, so they’re ready to go without us needing to create them everytime. It’s a small thing, but it saves time and keeps everything moving along.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com does have a few quirks. Sometimes tasks don’t show up in my workload unless I “favorite” the workspaces they were created in – which isn't very intuitive.

Also, it can be tough to keep up with all the new feature rollouts and figure out what will actually help us. It’s a little tricky to know if we’re getting the best out of the platform with all the updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With monday.com, I'm able to break down larger assignments into smaller subtasks means I can start working on things well ahead of their final deadlines. It lets me chip away at tasks over time, making it all feel much more manageable. As I've learned, it's easy to miss something until it pops up on the due date, which results in me scrambling to finish. With subtasks, projects stay on my radar from start to finish, helping me manage my time better and avoid a last-minute crunch.

Another feature that’s been valuable for my team is time tracking. It’s been a big help for us to forecast how long tasks take on average, which lets us budget our time better and keeps us on track with client hours. Plus, it’s useful when we’re communicating with clients about timelines or proposals—having a realistic sense of how long things take lets us set more accurate expectations and avoid overcommitting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn how to use automations and how to assign tasks to others using "deadline mode" so that they will show up in a person's work. Those are the two trickiest things with Monday so it's important to ensure you have a firm understanding of how to do those things.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of tools and ways of displaying information and an interface that lets the content of my company take the spotlight. I've used other platforms before, but I always end up confused by their layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why Monday has a paid version, but it should apply only to companies. Solo professionals should be encouraged to use the platform without having to spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am much more organized, and by consequence, the jobs get done quicker. Also, my company's clients can benefit from the tool by sharing boards with us and keeping track of their projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be best to use the different tracking tools, monitors and charts, as they are extremely helpful. I still forget to use them from time to time, but when I do, my work gets much more organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the labelling feature, and the ease of being able to integrate with other platforms as well as automate to exchange updates and items with other boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of much, although perhaps it would be good to have a calender view of what's happening this week! Sorry if this is already a thing
