Love the software and the user experience. All of our clients seem to love it aswel.
What do you like best about the product?
We use Monday for client project communication. I love how they see the different projects, progress, agenda/deadlines and design files for feedback all in one space. Project feedback often takes the most time in design projects, with Monday we have managed to reduce this dragging step with >60%. This means more margin and/or time for design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see an even more basic to use (user-friendly) user interface for clients. They sometimes have trouble understanding the software and it takes a tour to guide them through the new workspace we have set up for them. Think of the simplicity of the forms but in a workspace format with all the functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have grown the client capabilities of our company significantly. We can handle more clients because communication takes less time. We (mostly) don't need an account manager because the clients can see everything that is happening in their workspace *See my first answer for more context*
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday is perfect for project and client management. planning/agenda, projects, progress, feedback and document files all in one place. Clients need less management because they can just see the day-to-day progress and check the agenda if deadlines are being met.
Broad flexibility in managing your business!
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how flexible the platform is when it comes to tracking multiple types of tasks - operations, systems, expenses, reporting. The ability to track our business systems effectively has greatly increased transparency to managers and helped ensure that tasks are completed promptly. Being able to automate certain processes has helped us in everything from hiring to sales. Sending emails directly to an item that then appears as an update has increased communication. It has been an absolute pleasure to devise solutions for our business with Monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to automating certain processes the way we want them to operate. This caused us to rework a few of our processes or hold off on adding a particular process to Monday.com. If you don't know how to manage the notifications, it can blow up your email inbox. We had to help staff navigate this tension so they don't become overwhelmed and not want to use the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our hiring process has become transparent and super simple with email automation and the ability for applicants' responses to be added directly to their item on our board. We're also managing business systems that used to sit in someone's head.

If you run systems at your business, this is one of the most flexible options for managing operations.

I can control the employees. I can examine the movements of my work and get reports. I can give and receive assignments and follow the results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since it is simple to use, you can use it with full performance without additional training. Moreover, since it can be used over the web, you can control your work even if you are out of the office.

What do you like best about the product?
monday is really easy to use and quick to set up. I love that I can customise it to fit my workflow, and the features don’t feel overwhelming. I use it daily, and the mobile app is super handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who works mainly with video content, I wish there was a smoother way to share, download or play back one or multiple video files directly within updates or comments. Right now, videos are shared via a link to another tab/platform, which slows things down and makes quick collaboration a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using monday to manage my tasks means my team always knows where each project is at. It’s helped create clear communication around progress, deadlines, and feedback so things rarely get lost or missed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend monday.com for in-house video producers/videographers/editors because it has helped my team keep track of progress of their custom video requests, and easily share video briefs with me, and has helped me manage my workload. Have tried other project management tools before but monday.com has been the most ideal for me, even when working remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use once you mastered the features. All the tools that they have are great for creating boards and tracking your progress! Especially in our workplace where we can analyze data and keep us on track towards our goal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much really, I just hope that it can load faster when I go into my account. I suppose its because of the amount of data that we have hence the slow loading

From the data that we've gathered, we can identify issues in our processes based on the graphs we make from our initial input. Monday.com has definitely boosts our overall speed in delivering results

It is very easy to get projects and timelines set up in this software and also very easy to track deadlines and create Gant charts with the plug in

Timeline tracking, having everything in one spot with visualization tools helps keep things on track and makes meeting presentations easy

What do you like best about the product?
Adaptability & Flexibility! Having the ability to manage multiple different types of projects all in one place and having dashboards to monitor the progress. The dashboards provide great insights and are very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Task copying. We like to have some standard process tasks that we copy. It would be nice if we can tell it how many duplicates we would like to have. There are some ways around it but then the task says (copy) (copy) (copy).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication & Status Visibility - Monday was a great tool to improve our communication between not only our team but with clients and contractors as well. We use Monday to make sure that all of our deadlines are being met and have clear visibility on the staus of all projects.

The ability to assign tasks to coworkers and reminders.

Sometimes some of the items are not properly duplicated and when you refresh the page, you lose that progress made.
Also, sometime you can't move certain subitems up and down to different locations. It won't let you place them somewhere else.

Monday is great. I'm really terrible at planning my day, but Monday really helps for a collaborative performance!
I particularly enjoy to do lists, and the cooperative nature of Monday helps our team work brilliantly, remotely.

There's not much I don't like on Monday.com, and the system is continuously updated, with a load of new features coming very frequently.
I think the only thing that holds me back is my own lack of adventure w the system.

Our team works remotely a lot of the time, especially since the pandemic. Monday.com allows us to keep track of where projects are up to, what needs doing and who is best to contact about any given item.

Monday.com is a great tool for collaboration. The best thing I like is colorful dashboard views which make it user-friendly and easy to work with.

There is nothing much to dislike with monday.com
one thing I can say is that there is some learning curve when you start using it for the first time. with so many options, one may get lost where to find the data one is looking for.

A lot of time information is scattered around at different places. Monday.com helps with bringing all the data to one place in a well-organized manner.
It also simplifies the timeline view which is very important and makes the big picture visible to all team members.
