I feel like there are features I'm not quite sure how to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Watching and listening to customers is key! We are able to hear the answer and balance with behavior, vocal pauses, scrolling behavior to understand how they interact with the design.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to be able to test globally. Let's get User Testing capabilities for non-English speaking areas. Push into Japan and India.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image design to support product and overall brand. The qualitative data helps us to build the story of WHY customers make decisions to support the quantitative data showing us WHAT they are doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your needs for use. Is this a global request? User Testing does well in Europe and US, but needs to expand globally and with non-English speaking capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to quickly launch a study and get results within a day, if not hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it is clear when participants are gaming the system, so it is really important to listen to each result in order to determine whether the response is valid. This can be challenging when you're trying to make a directional decision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeking insights to validate problems and to determine whether or not we should spend time solving them. The benefits to us have been finding specific users quickly - and using those insights to move our innovation efforts forward (or punting them).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In order to get the most out of the tool, you need to understand what you want to learn and to ensure questions are designed correctly to ensure an open, honest response from participants.

Super fast and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to set up a test, and within hours (sometimes minutes), you get relevant feedback. There's no reason even the smallest creative decision should not be driven by user testing when it's so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the qualitative summary / notation feature was a little more effective for summarizing data. We rely on the verbal transcripts and it would be great to not have to listen to every second of every video to verify the accuracy of the transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses User Testing to make copy and layout decisions about marketing emails. The feedback we get is often surprising, but we know it makes our emails more effective. It's also provides evidence we can lean on when defending our creative decisions to internal clients.

Quick and Easy Product Validation

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fast turnaround time! It's so easy to spin up a quick test and gather insights from real users in a matter of hours. It's great for quick gut checks to validate our designs. I love that we can skip the recruiting process which can sometimes take the most time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes watching back the videos I wish I could interject and ask a question of the user of clarify something in a prototype. That's the only real trade-off for the the rapid turnaround. The challenge with having this tool so readily at my disposal is remembering to consolidate and share the insights. It's a little too easy to watch them on my own and not summarize what we learned for other stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use usertesting.com to shake out any usability issues in my designs before development handoff and to listen for any insights (e.g. what users like best, what they struggle with, where to they read something differently than intended, etc) and it's been extremely helpful.

How fast tests are picked up once launched.

Not much to be honest
It's silly but when you add a new task it goes to the bottom and you have to move it up vs. the new task being inserted in the proper place.

Usertesting is doing video surveys to make cash

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are many opportunities to review different things and earn money.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is difficult, and the recording software is glitchy. The tests are very specific, and become unavailable quickly, you must constantly be checking the website for additional tests, very time consuming. My laptop's recording have some problems and this is taken into testing account. The Usersupport is not very efficient, and gets back to you very much later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved is giving reviews to websites who are looking for feedback from users, benefits are you get rewarded.

User Testing and Experiential Research Made Easy

What do you like best about the product?
For starters, I love how easy the interface is to use. I also LOVE how fast support is to respond to issues. And the fact that there are so many people signed up in the UT panel is nice -- we already have fresh testers ready to help us, which makes scheduling our testing a dream.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have testers who are clearly there just to try to make a quick buck which is annoying, but thankfully UT is really great at letting us ban/block testers, rate testers, and replace testers in our test. So mostly just a minor concern. Also, the speech-to-text dictation needs some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are continuously testing and improving our online retail experiences. We've also used UT in conjunction with other tools a LOT, like Optimal Workshop.
